Aqua Dragons Deep Sea Habitat | Review

When I was little, I remember sporting a very cool watch that had a bubble on the top and it housed sea monkeys. My friends thought it was the coolest thing and I have to admit, I did too. Nowadays, fast forwarding 30yrs, Aqua Dragons are now the new cool aquatic creature to hatch & grow. Firstly, I want to get it out there that sea monkeys are not Aqua Dragons. What are Aqua Dragons? They are brine shrimp. Much like Sea monkeys, but they are two different genomes of the same species.  It has been quite a few years…

Meccano Rally Racer | Review

When I was little, I loved to build. It was something I got from my Dad because he was forever getting my Brother & I Lego. Which has resulted in my children having the very same Lego, in the same treasure chest that I used to play with. Which is pretty amazing. However, fast forward 30yrs {and some change!} and you can build all sorts nowadays. Which, I personally find quite exciting. It’s like we are trying to programme our children {in a non-robotic kind of way} to fall in love with engineering, building things and making it move. It’s…

Football Games Table from Chad Valley | Review

Football isn’t a sport that I am a particular fan of, but it is something I was raised with. Most of my family support Manchester United, and there are one or two within the family who support, Liverpool. You can imagine the atmosphere when those teams play against each other! It’s much like how my children get on when they play against one another. They were recently sent out a Football Games Table from Chad Valley to enjoy and it’s been a godsend on those rainy afternoons.  This particular football table is perfect for the little ones in the family…

Garden fun with the Little Tikes Builders Bay sand & water table | Review

We have had, what has felt like, the longest Winter imaginable. But then, as if by magic, we had a few days of glorious sunshine – even here in Northern Ireland! So naturally, when the sun comes out we tend to live outside rather than inside. Which is amazing! We have had so much fun in our garden and even more so since we were sent out the Builder’s Bay Sand & Water table from Little Tikes.  Once it arrived, I think I underestimated how big it was going to be. But that was OK because I am a total…

Chubby Unicorns need love too! | Review

I have always had a thing for Unicorns. They are beautiful, majestic, and yes…they’re a mythical beast – but that doesn’t stop them from being cool. They have a certain aura about them that makes us believe in fairies, hope and pixie dust.  Sure, a Unicorn is just an upgraded horse {in a matter of speaking} but they are so much more than that. The first Unicorn I ever saw was from the cartoon, Rainbow Brite – do you remember it? I loved that show! Her Unicorn Sprite was my first love and now it’s amazing to watch my own…

Bluebell the Horse Trunki – Ride On suitcase | Review {& giveaway!}

When Annabelle was little, we had the pleasure of working with Trunki on a toddlepak and a paddlepak review. So, we are fans of the Trunki range. However, we have never owned a Trunki ride-on suitcase. So when they got back in touch, offering Annabelle a Trunki of her choice to review, we were very excited.  If you have ever seen the Trunki ride-on suitcase range for yourself, you’ll know there is a wide and very fun range to choose from. And as soon as Annabelle clocked eyes on Bluebell the Horse Trunki, it was love at first sight. With…

Limited edition ‘Pearl Surprise’ LOL Surprise Playset | Review

I have got this far without being sucked into the LOL Surprise doll craze. But as time has gone on, my 5yr old has wanted to collect them more and more. She is a collector of everything blind bag related, and LOL surprise dolls do seem like a fun concept.  We were kindly sent out a LOL Pearl Surprise Playset to review and Annabelle was beyond excited. This limited edition fizz ball playset came in a gorgeous green/blue glitter case, which doubles up as a cute case-like handbag. Once we opened the case, Annabelle not only let out a “WOW”…

Nerf wars with the N-Strike Elite Surgefire | Review

In this house, we love a good nerf war! We have an impressive collection as it is, but Hasbro very kindly sent out the N-Strike Elite Surgefire to play with. I was so excited {nevermind the kids!} because I am such a go-big-or-go-home kind of person and this is a BIG addition to our collection.  The Surgefire comes with one huge ammunition cylinder {which is amazing!} – it can hold 15 nerf bullets at any one time. The only other cylinder nerf gun we have is the Strongarm, so having the surgefire as well is pretty cool. It is also a…

SuperZings – Rivals of Kaboom collectables | Review

Blind bags and mystery boxes make my kids so happy – whatever their age! My four-year-old goes nuts over them and my almost 13 yr old loves them too. So the age limit is varied! It’s just that excitement, isn’t it? The feeling of giddiness because even though you have a fair idea of what’s inside, you have no idea which one you have inside! SuperZings – Rivals of Kaboom are the latest collectables to hit the shelves and I have to say – they’re pretty cool!  My youngest daughter, Annabelle loves collecting this kind of toy and she also…
