Rainbocorns Series 2 from Zuru | Review

AD/Gifted – Today’s the day! The day my little one has been waiting for. Happy Global Hatching Day to Rainbocorns Series 2 from Zuru Toys. Who did we get, I wonder! If you caught my little sneak peek on my Instagram feed a few days ago – then I hope you’ve popped back! You’re a curious cat like me, it seems.
Toy crazes are pretty hard to keep up with, I’m sure you’ll agree. There is always a new wave of collectables and I’ll be honest, this is our first glance at the Rainbocorns! Hard to believe I know – where we living under a rock? Who knows! But we are excited about them. We were very kindly sent out a Rainbocorns Sequin Surprise {RRP £24.99} and a Rainbocorns Sparkle hearts {£9.99} for my youngest daughter, Annabelle.

Kids these days love a blind bag or a mystery box, right? They’re even bonkers for unboxing videos on YouTube – or at least my daughter is! But when we received the Rainbocorn eggs {which were much bigger than I expected!} there was no way to tell who was hiding inside. There are 13 super cute Rainbocorns to collect – can you imagine a row of fluffy sparkle hearted cuteness? I can!
Once I gave Annabelle the green light to ‘hatch’ her eggs, she was off faster than Usain Bolt off the starting line. She held back for no one and in no time at all she hatched her very own {and first} Rainbocorn.

This is Owlicorn the Owl – like you couldn’t tell! Isn’t he {or she!} cute! Also, can we just take a second to appreciate the smell? I wish I could let you guys sniff it {which sounds weird, I know!} but seriously – they smell amazing. I’m now wondering if each Rainbocorns smells different.
As well as the Rainbocorns Sequin Surprise plush, there was a collection of other surprises inside the egg. Annabelle flipped when she saw the Rainbocorn Poop, as well as a bracelet, some stickers and two little pencil toppers. Another little surprise that we weren’t expecting, was a mini egg at the bottom of the large egg, which contained a miniature Rainbocorn collectable.

Next up was the hatching of the Rainbocorns Sparkle Hearts, also known as Boo-Boocorns. How cute is that! These are much smaller than the Sequin Rainbocorns but just as cute!

Annabelle hatched out the Llamacorn which made her very happy. Llamas are all the rage at the moment and one of her favourite sayings is “No Drama Llama!”. She got another packet of Rainbocorn poop and another miniature rainbocorn collectable.

There are 6 Sparkle heart Rainbocorns to collect, from Puppies, Kittens, Flamingos and Unicorns. There is even a Bunnycorn, I mean, the name alone is too cute!

So what do we think of Rainbocorns?
It’s safe to say that these were a huge hit with Annabelle. She loved the whole experience and is already asking if she can add them to her Christmas wish list this year. Too early to mention Christmas, I know – but kids will be kids! Both the Sequin Surprise and Sparkle Hearts are suitable for children aged 3yrs+ and they’re available from Smyths Superstore, The Entertainer, Tesco, Argos, Tesco, B&M and Asda from July.

Disclosure: These products were gifted to us from Zuru Toys. All photos, opinions and thoughts are my own.

Oh these look sweet, just the sort of thing my littlest would enjoy.
