Nighthawk Ride on from RollPlay | Review

Without a doubt, Spring & Summer are the most exciting seasons for me. Why? Because the sun comes out to play a little more & the days are longer. Which means my kids get outside for hours at a time to be kids and live their best lives. Nothing makes me happier than seeing them play outside long after the sun has gone down! To make those days more exciting, my youngest was sent something very exciting to review. Annabelle was sent the 12-volt rechargeable Nighthawk Ride-on from RollPlay and to say she was excited is an understatement.

Annabelle is a daredevil through & through, so I think the Nighthawk Ride-on was literally made for her. She is a crazily adventurous child and even though I am concerned for her being on a motorised ride-on, I’m confident in her driving abilities. Purely because she knows all she knows from playing so much Mario Kart {the kid has some serious driving skills!}. So I think she will take to this Nighthawk Ride-on like a duck to water.

This ride-on is very different to anything we’ve ever owned before and I’m a little jealous I can’t have a go on it myself! It requires minimal assembly alongside a full charge which takes around 12hrs – once charged, place your safety flag on the back for visibility {as well as putting on your safety gear} & you’re good to go! On a fully charged Nighthawk, you will get around 60mins ride-on time which I think is pretty great!

Along with the Nighthawk ride-on, you will receive a safety flag, instructions, a power supply/charge adapter as well as UK & European adaptors.
Here’s a video to get a better idea of how it moves;
The ride-on itself looks amazing. It’s very sleek and almost in a Stingray shape? Which is very cool. According to Annabelle, it’s comfy to sit on {thanks to its moulded seat} which is good to hear! Where your feet are placed there is an accelerator & a brake pedal to give you control over your speed and it is a tilt-to-turn ride on which Annabelle is used to after reviewing her Globber Scooter last Summer. You simply lean to one side to turn and the Nighthawk does the rest.

The Nighthawk goes at around 6mph with a maximum weight limit of 50kgs which is around 7st 10lbs. It is aimed at children aged between 6 & 12yrs of age. So, sorry parents! This one isn’t for us but we can only hope a bigger model will be made at some point! We can dream, right?
Our thoughts on the product
It’s hard not to love this Nighthawk ride on from Rollplay. It comes with no assembly required. Other than having to place the safety flag in the rear of the ride on. Easily charged and has 1hr of playtime. What more do you need? The rubber section on the front is amazing {I know this because Annabelle did have a run-in with a wall} but she was totally fine as was the ride on. YAY for rubber bumpers!
The Nighthawk ride on, even though only goes 6mph, it’s still a speedy little thing. Which Annabelle loves! She ran the battery DRY by zooming up and down the alleyway beside our home. I think this product will be played with every time the weather is nice {or I have it all charged!}.
Is it worth the £129.99 price tag? 100% – it’s very different to anything I have ever seen before, easy to set up, charge and fun to play on – I cannot fault it. It also comes in a range of colours.

I mean, you just need to see Annabelle’s face to see how much she loves it. As I said before, I’m a little jealous I couldn’t have a go on it myself!

PIN IT FOR LATER!
