Feisty Pets – Cute & scary cuddling toys | review

“Halloweens coming on & the goose is getting fat! Would you please put a penny in the old man’s hat? If you haven’t got a penny, then a ha’penny will do! If you haven’t got a ha’penny, then God bless you!”

This song will forever remind me of Halloween. Back, many moons ago when I was little, dressed in a black bin bag {the witch costume of the mid/ the late 1980s} and carrying my carved turnip. Which, thinking back, were the scariest looking things, ever!

We’re now a good old hop, skip and a massive jump from the mid-eighties era and nowadays, the kids have no fear. I have loved watching how Halloween has altered, progressed and become a more fun time of the year. It’s almost become very Americanised, especially here in the UK. Either way, though – we love it.

Speaking of no fear, we were recently sent a pair of Feisty Pets from Jazwares to review and as soon as my five-year-old saw them she screamed: “I’VE SEEN THOSE ON YOUTUBE!”. Annabelle has loved Feisty Pets ever since she first caught a glimpse of them.

Fiesty Pets review

We received Glenda Glitterpoop & Sammy Suckerpunch – A Unicorn & a Grey Husky and at first glance, they’re absolute cuties, right?

WRONG!

These little guys are fun but fierce and there are a few different Feisty Pets to collect! Each character has their own likes & dislikes, for example, Glenda loves mushrooms & zombies – perhaps she prefers to snack on mushroom covered zombies? Either way, I like her style!

Does Glenda have any dislikes? Of course, she does! Balloon animals, World Peace & Lollipops!

Feisty Pets review

Apparently, Glenda Glitterpoop was captured during a Global Peace Rally while trying to kick-start a riot – typical Glenda! Glenda is known to be extremely dangerous and you get this unnerving feeling that she knows exactly what you’re thinking about. She always seems to be one step ahead of you, too.

Sammy Suckerpunch, the Grey Husky of the bunch was found at a Laundrette chewing holes in people abandoned socks and underwear! Sammy is an outside ONLY dog – so if you’re going to give him a home, watch your fingers, build yourself a BIG, sturdy fence, install surveillance cameras and invest in some strong industrial locks for your doors.

Sammy loves to chew shoes {I think we gathered that by his love to eat his way through people undercrackers!}, he also likes to eat crayons and taking long naps on piles of laundry. Sammy dislikes? Bathtime and his tail!

These ‘cuties’ are anything but good little teddies. They’re FEISTY after all. A simple squeeze on the back of the head and you’re greeted with…

Aren’t they fun!? My kids cannot get enough of them and especially with Halloween just a sneeze away – they love trying to frighten each other with them.

Have you looked through the Feisty Pets range? I’d love to know which one is your favourite! Personally, I think Sparkles the RainbowBarf Pegasus sounds like a proper legend!

Jack has seen these and really wants one! They’re so cute and scary all at the same time and seem like a lot of fun.

These are so scary when they go into monster mode, I don’t know if I’d be happy having those in my house, I think they’d give me nightmares x

Haha – they DO look so cute, don’t they? Until you make them cross 😉
