Number recognition worksheets | Free Printables

Last year, when Annabelle was in Primary one, she was doing number worksheet activities in school. Which is a natural topic to teach the kids, as you can understand. However, due to her love of worksheets, she asked me one afternoon to print her off some to do at home. She was doing number recognition worksheets in particular and I scoured the internet and even though I found a good selection, none that I found where free.ย
So I set about to make my own number worksheets for numeracy recognition and of course, share them as free printables for you guys. Perhaps you have a preschool-aged or a Primary school child that would really benefit from these. I know Annabelle did!ย
Number Recognition Worksheets
They are pretty simple as you see. They are just a giant version of a sequence of numbers, 0-10 and contain corresponding numbers for your child to circle. For example, circle all of the number 1’s, 2’s and so on. It is a simple, yet fun collection of number recognition worksheets that can even be coloured in after completed.ย

The worksheets go up to 10. Which is a great number based on these being aimed at both preschool and early Primary school children.ย
At the age of five, Annabelle is able to count up to 100 – which is something I am very proud of her for. Especially considering her speech delay struggles. She works very hard but I guess I’m lucky in a sense because Annabelle is a bit of a nerd and quite enjoys doing worksheets at home.ย

These look like great resources for kids, I think it’s so important to do little bits at home so it doesn’t feel like learning is just for school x
Thanks. I found it such a shame that none {that I could find} where available to print for free – so I’m happy I made them. And learning isn’t just for school – your 100% right! x
