Bourbon Biscuit Brownies | Recipe

Ok, here’s the tea – I love bourbon biscuits & I love brownies. Who doesn’t! If you say you, then my apologies, but we cannot be friends! Bourbons are the champion of biscuits and I’m excited to bring you this genius recipe of Bourbon biscuit brownies. The idea to combine my two loves together came to me one afternoon and I couldn’t be happier about it. It’s so simple and they’re so delicious, that I could cry! 

I did google it because … curiosity got the better of me and it turns out these are everywhere! How late to the party am I! But, I have finally found ‘my people’. My bourbon biscuit brownie loving people! 

If you’re in the states and reading this – firstly, hello! Secondly, if you’ve never heard of ‘the bourbon’ it’s because it’s a British biscuit. They’re delicious and if you have British connections, get some sent over – dip them in milk, enjoy with a cup of tea – either way, they’ll make you happy.

These bad boys are delicious and I’d like to say they lasted for longer than 48hrs. But they didn’t. My gang devoured them over giggles, cups of tea and happy faces.

Adding the bourbon biscuits {in my personal opinion} is an amazing idea. They add a certain spark to the brownies. It’s an addition you didn’t think you needed – but … spoiler … it turns out you do. 

Brownies are hands down, one of my favourites treats – gooey in the centre, crumbly on top, delicious and chocolatey! Yummy! They tick all the boxes and they go down better with a cup of freshly made tea – would you agree?

I don’t think this is going to be my last delicious brownie recipe, so if you’re a brownie fan, like me, watch this space for more coming soon!
