The Ultimate {& Easy} Cookie box to Gift this Christmas

This year has been quite the ride, hasn’t it? And I feel as though I have started a lot of my blog posts recently with that exact sentence. I much change that! Anyway! It has and with Christmas on the horizon, gift-giving or the idea of gift-giving has taken a turn. And not for the worse! Sure, the ease of buying the gift in-store has dimmed slightly, or greatly, depending on where in the world you are! Online deliveries always take longer on the run-up to Christmas normally, but throw in a global pandemic? Chaos! So, when I said the idea of gift-giving has changed, I mean it’s changed in a way that people are looking to not only small businesses to buy gifts from. But creating their own homemade gifts, too. I am one of those people. Are you one of those people? Either way, I am going to share with you my Ultimate Cookie Box to gift family and or friends this Christmas.
I came up with the idea when my Dad said to me “Now, don’t buy me any rubbish. A bottle of Brandy will do rightly”. By rubbish, he means mugs, flasks, clothes etc. He just doesn’t need any of it. But giving him just one gift makes my face crinkle in disgust. I refuse to do it. So, I came up with the idea of gifting him something that I knew he would love. Cookie & Cupcake treats! Almost like a graze box of desserts! I personally think this is the perfect gift to give to anyone at Christmas.
My Ultimate Cookie Box {Graze Box style!}

Now, once you heard the words “Graze box style dessert box” your mind got all twirly thinking of what you’d like in that dessert box, right? I know as soon as I thought of it, mine did too! So, because I am just all sweet & lovely, I’m going to share with you what I plan to put into the Ultimate Cookie Box that I will be gifting to family & friends this Christmas.
Ultimate Cookie Box:
Christmas Tree Cookies
Meringue Christmas trees
Christmas Wreath Cupcakes
Raspberry & Coconut Loaf cakes
Custard & Raspberry Tarts
Lemon Drizzle Loaf cakes
Christmas Cookie Sticks
GingerSnap Cookies
Candy Cane Fudge
Millionaires Shortbread
Chocolate dipped strawberries
Pretzels {Plain & Dipped in chocolate}
All of these cookies and cupcake treats can be easily found on Pinterest for inspiration. I think that this collection of delicious desserts will make up one pretty epic Cookie box, don’t you think? I know the Raspberry & Coconut, as well as the Lemon Drizzle, aren’t exactly Christmas cakes. But my Dad loves those, so they needed to be added.

To bring this lot together, all I then needed was a cupcake box. I removed the cupcake insert, stabilised the base with some cardboard and I was good to fill it up and make it look festive & pretty. You can pick these up from Home Bargains and even B&M stores for a few pounds. Tie a little ribbon around it and voila! You have the ultimate gift to give to family and friends this Christmas. Food made with love.
These make the grand kinds of gifts, especially if you are on a budget! Because these sorts of gifts are made with love {the best kind of gift!}, can be enjoyed by everyone and they’re crazy thoughtful. The time and effort that goes into these cookie graze boxes are everything and that will mean the world to whoever you gift one too.
