AD | My Egg-cellent Easter Gift Guide!

I love Spring. With Spring comes new blooms, lambs in the fields, longer days and of course, chocolate eggs! Easter is one of our favourite seasonal occasions in this house, which I am sure, many other houses can relate to! There is just something about the little ones writing their letters to the Easter bunny {because that’s a thing now!} and having a good old fashioned Easter egg hunt. It’s just a lovely time of year and of course, the chocolate makes it better, let’s be honest! However, with chocolate as gifts, people are gifting other lovely gift ideas for Easter as presents too. So, here is my Egg-cellent Easter Gift Guide just for you lovely lot. I hope it gives you a little inspiration as it is filled with lots of fun, traditional and different ideas for gifts this Easter.

Easter Gift Guide Ideas

Chocolate gifts

Chocolate is just the go-to gift idea for Easter, right? Of course, it is and that is why I am loving this Chocolate Easter Cottage from Cadbury! We have our Gingerbread houses at Christmas, Halloween cookie houses are also slowly becoming a thing, and now chocolate Easter houses too. I just love it and I know kids {and adults} all over the place would love not only decorating this lovely chocolate cottage for Easter but tucking into it together, too!

Keeping with the chocolate theme and I guess something that could be intertwined into your Easter Egg Hunt. Is this Golden Chocolate Coin maker from John Adams. This is such a fun gift idea for Easter and it makes for a fun activity for the kids to enjoy too.

Toys/Blind Boxes

If your kids are anything like mine, then they will go absolutely bonkers over anything blind bag/box related. Spinmaster has released the cutest little Hatchimals Spring Basket as a gift set, which would make any Hatchimal fan ecstatic.  They have also brought out an egg carton style box filled with one dozen Wilder Wings Hatchimals, too.

Fun Family Games

As a family, we love playing board games together. This Sherlock Holmes based board game called 221b Baker Street from Gibsons Games is perfect. It is a detective based game, obviously, with Sherlock at the helm! You are given the job to embrace everything Sherlock, to roam the cobbled streets of London, in search of clues to solve a crime.

Within this board game, there are 75 cases to solve and it is perfect for 2-6 players for ages 10yrs and up.

Another fun family game, perfect to bring out onto the dining table this Easter is SpinDoodle Drawing game from Learning Resources. We love any kind of game that involves drawing because it never fails to make everyone laugh. However, this doodle game has a twist! The drawing board spins as you try to draw something which makes things ten times harder for your team to guess the right answer.

A game guaranteed to give you a giggle and definitely a fun twist on a good old fashioned doodle game.

Picnic essentials

We adore going on adventures. Packing up a tasty picnic, not forgetting our kites and hopping on a train to somewhere amazing. Going on adventures and having picnics means good quality food storage containers are key and this all-metal Elephant Box is pretty awesome.

Easter decorations

I love decorating my house for any seasonal occasion, but I do think Easter is up there as one of my favourites. I’ve always tried to go for a minimal approach, now that my kids are getting older, but it’s still a really lovely focal point in our living space.

From any previous gift guides that I have shared, you know that I am a huge fan of the gin {and salt vodka} from the Isle of Wight Distillery. This Mermaid Pink Gin is divine! So sweet and smooth and the perfect treat for us parents as the kids are tucked up in bed, the sun decides to so go sleep and we can enjoy some adult time with a well-deserved botanical tipple.

A gift for all the family
