The Body Shop in Belfast Blogger Event

Last week I attended a blogger night at the Body Shop in Belfast. Now, if I’m honest, I’ve not been into the Body Shop in years. I’m one of those annoying people who’s never really had any skin issues or wore makeup. So I always thought the Body shop products would be a little lost on me.

Oh, how wrong was I!

Firstly, the Body Shop in Belfast has just had a major makeover and the new look of the shop looks fantastic. It has a really sleek and modern feel to it, plus all of the units being white with a little wooden effect gives a real feeling of space too which is lovely.

Over the last week I have been testing out some of the products that I was very kindly gifted for attending the event and also products that I bought while there – I couldn’t help myself! The two products that I bought whilst there was the Vitamin C Energising Face mist which is aimed at those with ‘dull, tired & grumpy’ skin. This is definitely a category that I fall into. Even though I am lucky enough to not suffer from breakouts etc, with age, your skin does become quite drab and tired – so I have really enjoyed spritzing my face with this every day to a little kick of revitalized skin.

Even though I’m lucky enough to not suffer from breakouts etc; with age? Your skin does become quite drab and tired, or at least mine has! So I have really enjoyed spritzing my face with this every day to give it a little kick of revitalized skin – it also smells amazing!

The second product I bought was the Amazonian Saviour multi-purpose balm which I saw bloggers go mad over during the previous week’s blogger event. This was without a doubt a product that I needed to invest in because I have quite a few tattoo’s and having a balm to give them a little shine & colour kick sounds like a genius product to me. Since using it, I cannot get enough of it. It really does give my tattoo’s a pop of colour which I love

Products kindly gifted to me was a Clarifying Milky toner {with Ginseng & rice extracts} and a little pack of samples including Oils of Life sleeping cream, Oils of Life facial oil, Drops of Youth ‘youth cream’ & 2 face masks; one Ethiopian honey deep nourishing mask & an Amazonian Acai energizing radiance mask. All of which I have yet to even try – but I will pop what I think when I get round to using them on my Instastories.

I had a lovely time during the event and I want to say – once again – a big thank you to The Body Shop in Belfast for inviting me along. I will certainly be popping in again soon and the new look of the store looks great!
