I have a travel bucket list – doesn’t everyone? And Costa Del Sol is on that list. It’s a beautiful part of Spain that we have never been too and after having a little look online, it looks amazing & surprisingly to me – bursting at the seams with fun things to do with the family.
Anytime my Husband and I sit down together to research holiday destinations we always do so with the children in the forefront of our minds. I mean, a family holiday isn’t a family holiday unless there is something for everyone – right? I am also a huge holiday resort fan and even though I love hanging out in the resorts, I also love to venture out to explore too. So as long as our chosen holiday destinations can provide heaps of fun on the resort as well as lots of amazing places to visit and explore out and around the resort location – then we’re onto a winner.
Costa Del Sol is definitely ticking all of the boxes for us and after a little more research about things to do outside the resort, I had to share it with you guys. Check out 10 things to do with kids in Costa del Sol;
in Mijas – Who doesn’t love a water park! And if anything will help you see through a particularly hot day – a water park is an epic idea. Anytime me & the kids go swimming we love to choose somewhere, even around our home town, that has slides to zoom down and lazy rivers to swim around. So it’s only natural when we go on holiday, that we can visit a local water park too!
– We have been to zoos here in Belfast, Dublin and even visited the Zoo in Fortworth, Texas. But we have never been to a crocodile park. I love visiting new and exciting attractions and I have no doubt that the Crocodile Park in Torremolinos would make for a great day out.
– Zoos are amazing places to visit, in whatever part of the world you are in. See new and exotic animals, how different zoological gardens do things – it’s amazing to see. So being able to see some amazing animals up close and personal is always a great experience, wherever you are.
– Butterflies are such beautiful creatures of the world. We grew our own caterpillars and helped them hatch into Butterflies this summer. So I think Butterfly parks are always going to be a favourite place for us to visit. Having them flutter around us is a pretty magical experience for young & old.
Costa Water Park – Waterparks come in all shapes & sizes – we have never been to the inflatable kind before but man, doesn’t it look fun!
Those are just a few ideas of fun things to do with the family whilst visiting Costa Del Sol, Spain. It really depends on what sort of holiday you are after if these suggestions are your thing or not – we are pure adventure, fun loving explorers on holiday and the more fun activities we can fit in as a family – the better!
