Showing off our Summer photos, with Cheerz | Review

If you are anything like me, then you’ll take an unfathomable amount of photos. It’s almost a habit {of mine, anyway!}. Growing up, we didn’t have digital cameras or camera phones, nor did my parents. So those memories, those hundreds of amazing memories have gone uncaptured. Only seen if you close your eyes really tightly, to remember them. I don’t have many photos of my summer holidays as a child and I couldn’t bare my children growing up not having those memories to look back on either. So, when Cheerz got in touch and asked me to collaborate with them – it was a no-brainer.

I worked with Cheerz a few years ago and they are such a great, affordable brand, that I was excited to be asked to work with them again. I love printing out any photo I take. We can take tens of thousands of photos, but if they just sit, stored on a hard drive somewhere – what use are they? They need to be printed, showed off & displayed. Looked at and remembered with a happy twinkle in your eye and a smile on your face.

Cheerz have so many wonderful product options to choose from, giving you so many fun & unique ways to print off your photos. From photo books to canvas’s, from photo strips to scrapbooks! The list goes on!

When I first collaborated with Cheerz, I made a pact with myself to get every family holiday we take, printed off in a lovely frame. We had a recent family holiday in Somerset, so that was going to be our first and perfect addition to our wall of holiday memories. I stuck with the same square framed photo design, size because it is simple & perfect and I just love how to looks on our living room wall. I am no interior designer {not by any stretch} but I think this looks lovely.

This square framed photo is in size 40x40cm – which is a great size and will cost you £32.00. These framed prints do not have glass, which is something I actually prefer and looking at them, you really couldn’t tell the difference. They are light, durable & look great when they’re hung up.

With my daughter recently celebrating her 13th birthday, I thought that getting her a few photobooth prints of her & her friends. Everyone loves a photo strip – so I couldn’t resist when I saw this option on their website. They come in a lovely cardboard case to keep them stay fingerprint free – but it wasn’t long before Ellie had them proudly pinned on her pin board.

For the price of 4 photobooth strips, it will cost you £8 – which is an absolute bargain! Just think how much one strip would cost you at an actual photobooth!

Now, I love having my memories printed, just like the next person. However, I am so over the whole 6×4, 7×5 sized photo prints. It is all about that square print! I for one love having my photos printed into squares & stored in the Big Fat Box – which can store up to 200 images!

Naturally, my teenager hijacked the images she loved and I love that they’ll be proudly pinned to her pin board in her bedroom. Next up, sticking with the teenager in mind, I spotted this photo scrapbook {£25} and I think it is a quality idea!

I opted for a Small scrapbook and I love that you can choose whatever images you like, to create your own story. There are 2 scrapbook options available, a big, small scrapbook inc. a baby scrapbook. For Ellie, we chose to document her 13th birthday. Turning 13 is a huge deal {I think} and what a nicer way, than making your own scrapbook of memories.

For £21 {the small scrapbook} you get your hardback scrapbook {with a choice of two designs} and it also includes a white writing pen & the choice of 20 images. Ellie loved adding her photos, which are easily done by removing the peelable paper, and adding doodles wherever she felt.

It is such a lovely keepsake and I know this will not be the only photo scrapbook we will own because I think they are just such a gorgeous idea.

Now, stepping away from my teenager and swooping into the kitchen. If your fridge is anything like ours, it’ll be sprinkled with magnets.

I have this need to buy a magnet wherever we have an adventure! Whether it be from our recent visit to the Animal Farm Adventure Park, weekends in London, my holiday in Palma or even my holiday in Cyprus with Clickstay. I always find a magnet to bring home!

I chose the retro fridge magnets from Cheerz. I love a bit of retro! For £15 you can have 12 photos made into magnets – they are fabulous quality. The photos print well and they look really cool on our fridge.

Now, I am going to transport you back to the day we got married – confession? We got married on a budget, our wedding photographer was paid by the hour and we received a flash drive with both original & edited images. I love editing photos, so this was perfect for us. However, almost two years on, we still don’t have a wedding album. Cheerz fixed that because we decided to put a bunch of our wedding day memories into one of their softcover photobooks

I have a few hard covered photobooks, so I wanted to see how good the quality was in the soft covered photobooks. Turns out, they are just as good in my book {apologies for the pun!}

You can choose a range of layouts for each page, add text and so forth. I just went with something quite simple and as non-traditional as possible – which resembles our wedding day to a T.

I could not have been more proud, to have my two eldest boys there by my side. The fact they tower over me, we will overlook, ok! Even though it’s not hard, let’s be honest!
