North Pole Breakfast Ideas {includes FREE PRINTABLES!}
On December 1st, we will be welcoming our personal elf on the shelf for the run-up to Christmas and what better way to introduce the arrival {or return} of the children’s Christmas elf than with a North Pole breakfast!
Now, we only started this tradition last year so it was all pretty new to us but I cannot express to you how excited the kids were for their festive breakfast last year, so much so that I cannot wait for it this year now too.
Now, the perfect time to throw this breakfast is done on one of two days. Either it is thrown on December 1st, to welcome the arrival of your Elves or it’s thrown on Christmas eve. I personally like to do mine on Christmas eve. But I know lots of people who prefer to do there’s on December 1st. There is no real ‘right’ way, just ‘your’ way and that’s grand.Β
What food to have for your Christmas breakfast is a question I get asked a lot! So, I am here to tell you…
- Festive pancakes
- Hot chocolate or flavoured milk
- A fruit fondue
- Strawberry Santa Hats
- Banana & Strawberry Candy canes
- Christmas crumpets {usually available in Asda}
- Poptarts
- Funfetti Shortbread bites
- Cinnamon rolls {make them into a Christmas tree}
So looking back at last year I was pretty clueless on the whole idea, so I figured IΒ would rummage through good old Pinterest & put together a post containing a few ideas of what to serve up at your festive Breakfast.
I just love the bacon and pancake snowman idea! This will so be getting done and I know the peppermint doughnuts are a super-naughty treat but for this breakfast, anything goes!
The pancake Christmas tree and the fruit candy cane would be two sure-fire favourites with the kids, without a doubt, and with the parents too! Either way, all this food is making me hungry, roll on December 1st for our Official Elf Breakfast!!
