Make your own Rudolph Chocolate Bark!

This is such a fun and cute idea and not only is it the perfect addition to your Christmas party table. Or perhaps you are throwing the kids a North Pole Breakfast, hell, it even makes a great Christmas gift idea for Teachers, Family & friends. The options for this cute and simple Rudolph Chocolate Bark is nothing short of magical. All you need are little cellophane bags that you can buy off Amazon for next to nothing and boom, a super cute Christmas treat and/or gift prepared in no time at all.

Rudolph Chocolate Bark Recipe

This Rudolph Chocolate bark is so easy to make that the longest part? Is waiting for it to chill in the fridge! But aside from that? This is totally something you can get the kids involved with and even the little ones, too! And here is everything you need:

Ingredients

Red Smarties {Just pick them out from Smarties tubes and enjoy the rest with a cup of tea!}
Pretzels {cut in half or break in half, whichever works best for you}
Candy eyes {Available online or in Home Bargains, where I bought mine!}
100g Milk chocolate
100g Dark chocolate
Festive sprinkles {optional}

If you cannot find the candy eyes, you can use mini white marshmallows and a black icing pen to create the eyes. 

Method

Line a tin with parchment paper and melt your milk and dark chocolate in separate bowls. You can do this in the microwave in bursts of 30 seconds. However, I prefer to do mine in a glass bowl over a pan of boiling water. That’s how my Mum always did it and now how I always do it, too.

Once your chocolate is melted, pour your preferred chocolate into the tin first. The choice is yours. Personally, I went with the dark chocolate first and just squiggled it around the tin and they poured over the melted milk chocolate.

Next, get your red smarties and place them wherever you wish to have a Rudolph on the chocolate slab. In case you didn’t know, these are Rudolphs noses! Just to clarify that in case you weren’t aware! You can then add your eyes to above all of the red smartie noses. And then finally, snap or cut your pretzels in half and place them as antlers. Pushing them into the chocolate slightly. Making them one with the chocolate bark slab.

You can then add your festive sprinkles if you wish to do so! And then pop your Rudolph Chocolate Bark into the fridge to set.

Once it is fully set, you can cut out pieces of bark around Rudolph’s head. Pop them into cellophane bags, tie them with a cute ribbon and voila. Instant gift, made with nothing but festive joy & love.
