Helping my kids breath easy, with Colief

There is nothing worse than when our children get a cold; and as any Parent would, we wish we could take it from them, am I right? I remember most of the times my children have had a cold – thankfully they have my immune system and it’s not that often. Maybe once a year *touches wood*, but helping them get through the day is nothing compared to getting them {and you} through the night.
I was very kindly sent some Breathe easy Patches from Colief and they could not have come at a better time, because my youngest, Annabelle had just come down with a little cold.

These little patches are such a great idea. I am usually one of those Mums, and I am sure I am not alone. That does everything from applying snufflebabe or Vicks to the bottoms of my children’s feet {covering with socks}. I will rub snufflebabe into her chest and back, as well as add a capsule of decongestant onto a tissue and tie to the pillow end of their bed. Hoping that they’ll be covered and have a good night’s sleep. Sometimes though, we know that’s not the case.

You know what it’s like yourself, you lie down after a busy day and all of a sudden, you cannot breathe. It can be a little scary sometimes, so goodness only knows what that feels like for our children.
These simple little patches contain a unique blend of natural ingredients which help your child breathe easy during their cold. They smell of eucalyptus and peppermint {delicious} and the patches are worn, towards the chest area of your child’s clothes or pyjamas {not to be placed on the skin}. Each patch should be removed and replaced {if needed} every 8hrs and you must never use more than one patch at a time.

I love that these are in the form of a sticker, because, socks can be kicked off, tissues can fall off and get lost in the bedding. So knowing that when I apply this patch to my children’s nightwear, that it will stay there through the whole night. Providing soothing relief to their stuffy noses.
Eucalyptus is everyone’s go-to remedy when we have a cold. I only recently released that peppermint is great for reducing fevers and headaches. So having them both on the patch, working as a team to help our children get a good night’s sleep is pretty awesome.
There are recommended for children 3yrs and up – which is fine but I know what it was like, having a baby or a toddler with a cold and there isn’t anything out there for them really. So it would be amazing if this could, one day, be available for little babies too.
However, these are a game changer for us, as a family, when the cold strikes. My Husband had a cold recently too {not the man flu, thankfully!} and these even worked for him. So it’s nice to know they are effective for adults, as well.

In each pack of Colief Breathe Easy patches, you get 6 patches. They last up to 8hrs and are suitable for children 3yrs and up. They cost £5.99 and they are available in Lloyds pharmacy, Holland & Barret, Superdrug, and other independent pharmacies.

These sound fantastic – think we need these right now!!
Oh wow. I’ve not heard or seen these before but will definitely keep these in mind! They sound great!
This is so clever! Lu has very sensitive skin so I don’t like to use any of the topical remedies/relief balms. Thank you x
What a fab idea! Once the coughs and colds start they can go on forever, so we need all the tools in the box xx
These are such a great idea – definitely a game changer! x
Totally need to remember these for the next time the kids get a cold! What a great idea!
