Getting Back to School {and Sporty!} with M&S!

I cannot believe that I’m saying the words “It’s almost time for the kids to go Back to School!”. It’s crazy how fast their summer has gone. But with only a few short weeks left, we’re just about ready for their first day back. Marks & Spencers recently got in touch with a new School Uniform campaign and wondered if we’d like to get involved. Well, of course, we would! This campaign was all about the sports uniform side of our children’s school uniforms and the chance to host a little sports day of our own too.

So with my budget in place, I got to shopping. There are so many great sports uniform products on their website that I wasn’t long sorting both of the younger children out. They didn’t take long to be sent out and before we knew it, we were setting up our own little Sports day in the garden {in between bouts of rain because, well, the weather here in N.I has been awful this summer!}.

To help us with our Sports day theme we were able to pick a few items from the M&S Outdoor toy range. So we decided to go for this fun Bat & Ball set and a very happy looking Space Hopper.

As for the sportswear I picked out for the kids. I think they looked really sporty and ready for our garden fun. The kids even mention how soft and comfortable everything they wore, felt.

I’ll start with the youngest. Jacob is wearing some Active shorts {available only in black}, a red pure cotton unisex t-shirt {available in 3 colours and a 2pk} & a funnel neck zip through track top {available only in black}.
Ellie is sorting a pair of cotton-rich joggers, a blue pure cotton t-shirt {available in 3 colours and a 2pk} & a cotton-rich hooded sweatshirt.

Jacob also loves his Striped Football Shorts & Ellie thinks her cotton-rich cycling shorts are super comfy!

Now on with the sports day fun!

The kids great fun with our little garden sports day. If you’re wondering where I got the bunting, bean bags and start & finish flags I managed to pick those up at my local Poundland. They loved their new sportswear for school. Now they have them all washed and put into their sports bags ready for school to start back.
