Back to School with STABILO EasyOriginal pens

Anyone with school children will know the madness that comes with making sure our children are equipped for the new school term. I have collaborated with Ryman to review a collection of fabulous stationery products from STABILO and in particular, these EasyOriginal pens.  My youngest daughter has literally just started her first week of being in Primary two and she could not have been more excited. This year for her will consist of less playtime {which I’m unsure – as yet – how she’ll feel about that} & more classroom work. Which in turn means, more handwriting will be involved.…

Scooting Back to School with Globber by Plum

When I think of the school run during the autumn & winter months, I have to admit, I shudder at the thought. By some strange coincidence, the heavens seem to open as soon as you shut that front door. Am I right? So, the quicker we can get ourselves to school, the better. We are collaborating with Plum on their Globber scooter range and they’ve very kindly sent my three school-aged children a scooter each to help them get back to school, in style.  The GLOBBER by Plum Scooter range is pretty cool. They have such an amazing range of…

Going Back to School with Smiggle

In a few weeks time, my children will be going back to school. I am a little sad about that as the summer seems to have been syphoned from under my feet. But also pleased because I am a person who loves a bit of routine & structure. However, with the new school term upon us, we are in full swing to get the kids ready for going back to school. We have collaborated with Smiggle to share a few amazing products from their massive range of Back to school goodies. Ranging from backpacks, pencil cases, stationery and so on. …

Back to School & Lunchtime talk with Hartley’s

As of this week – my three younger children are all Back to School {Yay!}. Don’t get me wrong, our Summer together was amazing but my goodness this Mama and her cubs needed some routine back in their lives and thankfully school provides that for us all.  The weather hasn’t held back on letting us know that the Summer holidays are well and truly over either – as I sit here typing this I am wrapped in a blanket and my kids have slipped into their woolly jumpers. Autumn is coming in thick and fast and it’s letting us know…

Starting the new school term with Start-rite shoes

Last year we reviewed a pair of Start-rite shoes for my youngest son, and I have raved about the brand ever since. My youngest boy is football mad, he’s also a fan of climbing and other such activities that will scuff the front of his school shoes. As must to my dismay! And before reviewing our first pair of Start-rite shoes, he was going through two, sometimes, three pairs of shoes throughout the school year. Amazingly, throughout P4 he wore his first pair of Start-rite shoes throughout the entire year. Not a toe scuff in sight!  We’re excited to be…

Back to School with Marks & Spencer

My school age children finish for the summer holidays next month and we cannot wait! However, finishing one year of school means you need to prepare for the next term. I worked with Marks & Spencer a few years ago on their Sportswear range for children and recently I was asked to work alongside them again to share with you, their Back to school range. I’ll be honest, I’ve never shopped in M&S before for my children’s school uniforms. For my preschooler, there was no need because tracksuit bottoms or leggings alongside a branded polo shirt & jumper was her…

Back to school with Stikins Name Label Kit

When it comes to school uniforms, something at some point will end up getting lost. From school jumpers, polo shirts {all school branded – so not cheap to replace!} and on occasion, we have even lost entire PE kits. Weep! It’s a knack our children possess. So whenever I get my children kitted out for the new school term I have now got into the routine of name labelling everything! I mean, if you ever want to see these items again, give them a name label. I was recently sent out a Stikins Name labelling kit to review and I have reviewed…

Our little girl is going to school!

A few weeks ago lots of friends around the UK mainland were receiving their school placement letters. While here in Northern Ireland we still had a few weeks of waiting to endure. I was envious but I knew our turn would come round soon enough.  The morning of April 28th was when I stalked our postman. Like, fully stalked his arrival. Not creepy at all, right? As soon as I saw him walking into our street I was tempted to run out and ask him for ours ahead of schedule. But I held my ground. Only just. Pacing back and…

Back to School with Label Planet

When the children finished school I never expected the summer holidays to whizz by as quickly as they have. They have gone by unbelievably fast that I’m both pleased about and a little sad, too. So as I finish getting the children prepared I forgot to get one essential back to school item. School clothing labels! I cannot tell you how many items we lost in last year’s school term, which I’m sure you can relate to. So when Label Planet got in touch offering us some of their labels to test out on my children’s school uniforms, I was happy too.…
