Celebrating Pancake day with Galberts Pancakes

HAPPY PANCAKE DAY!!!

Oh, we absolutely love pancakes at home, whether they are warm, cold, drizzled with maple syrup – we love them all. But when Galberts pancakes got in touch and asked us if we’d like to sample one of their delicious pancake hampers, how could we say no!

The hamper had everything we needed to make pancake day a pretty epic one! Galberts do three different styles of pancakes, all of which were included in the hamper we were so kindly sent: American, Large & Mini style pancakes.

With pancake day being today we’ve had a pretty amazing pancake menu to enjoy and I’m going to share with you some of the ways we’ve served up our pancakes!

My first pancake dish had to be stacked American pancakes with bacon and drizzled in maple syrup. This was a no brainer to kick off our lead up to pancake day!

I’m going to be honest, I’ve genuinely never tasted pancakes as fluffy or as good as I did on my first bite of this delicious little creations. This lunch choice for me made me wish I had more than just two packets of the American style pancakes in that hamper! So for these, Galberts – I salute you! Your pancake maker is a true wizard!

The second pancake dish was aimed at my fruit and pancake loving toddler. She’s a huge ‘berry’ fan and who doesn’t love a layer of Nutella on their pancakes too!

Our next pancake dish is a traditional one {for the fussy eater of the family – namely, my youngest son!} and he’s just like things simple, hassle free – so his pancakes come warm with butter & a sprinkling of sugar.

The eldest girl in the house enjoys her pancakes with Nutella {good girl!} and a nice helping of chopped banana! Yum!

Then a family favourite….dishing out the mini pancakes with a dusting of icing sugar and a generous drizzle of Nutella!

The full range of these delicious pancakes will be available across Supervalu, Eurostar & Dunnes Stores over the next few weeks and they even have tastings scheduled in 100s of stores Ireland in partnership with Nutella’s “Pancakes love Nutella” campaign. 

Galberts pancakes are a little different than the regular pancakes you’d get from the ‘bread section’ in your local store whereas these little darlings will be found in the chilled dessert aisle. Galberts recommend that they’re kept refrigerated for freshness and they’re also suitable for vegetarians.
