Our favourite Summer Holiday Memory

Family holidays for my Brother and I when we were growing up were ferry boats over to stay in Butlins and car journeys up to the Antrim coast to stay in our caravan in Castlerock {my favourite place in the entire world}. But for my children, family holidays are a little different.
My partner and I try to take them somewhere different each time we’re able to go away. We love the idea of being able to tick off just one more place on the map we can all say we’ve been too. However, the one place that has stuck in the minds {and hearts} of the children {so far} has been our week away in La Croix Du Vieux Pont, Paris, France with Eurocamp last Summer.

Having a family of water babies you know full well that we were in the park’s indoor pool every single day we were there, and the kids loved every single minute of it.

We like to be as active as we can and we all loved being able to hire out some bikes from the parc and to go on lots of cycling adventures. We explored the park and nearby French villages and we all got to see some amazing sights.

My daughter and I are big watersport fans and we love to get stuck into anything we can on the water. During this holiday the only option we had {other than the super fun paddleboats & Ellie wasn’t 100% comfortable with the idea of going solo in a canoe} was sharing a kayak and working together to explore one of the few giant lakes in the parc. She absolutely loved it and even asked if we could go again when we got home!
Spending time in France was amazing, but the next destination that we’d love to visit is without a doubt, Cyprus. I’ve heard nothing but good things and best of all, it’s looks like a great destination was a family holiday.

What a lovely time you all had! I love how white and soft that sand looks. Can imagine it running through my fingers right now! #MMWBH
I love looking at holiday piccies! Good luck in your entry! #MMWBH
We did the whole France thing when my daughter was younger with Siblu and they do absolutely love it don’t they. Certainly ticks lots of boxes. Doesn’t matter where we go though, the resounding favourite is Butlins. So may happy memories made on holiday. Cyprus sounds exciting. #MMWBH
Oh wow looks great!! We still haven’t ventured abroad as a family of six, I’m not even sure we could afford all the new passports, but I do think that in the next couple of years I would like to take them somewhere hot and sunny as opposed to another year wet and miserable at Butlins. We’ll see! #MMWHB
This does look lush. What was the weather like? I have thought about Eurocamp. I think my kids would love it too. But it needs to be warm!
Looks like a great time. makes me a little sad reading while more snow falls outside right now
Oh, that does look lovely! Hope you win 🙂
Looks fantastic – you are so lucky living close to so many amazing places (we’re a bit isolated from the world in the land down under!) I’d love to “pop across” to a french water park 🙂
Great post, good luck with your entry! #MMWBH
