Boys can have Teepee Sleepover parties too, with 1st for Fun!

Jacob, this last week turned eleven. The big double ones. Jacobs one and only birthday wish was to have a sleepover. I’ll be honest, having a bunch of pre-teen boys huddled into one room made my eye twitch. But I did it for his Sister {which was much, much louder!} so how could I say no?

So, I gave myself a shake and reminded myself, that this was for him – therefore I caved. As you can imagine, he was thrilled that I gave him the green light for his Birthday Sleepover. So then I had to get to planning! If you’ve followed me for a while then you know I love to plan my children’s birthday parties. They’ll not have them forever, so I like to make the effort when I can!

As fate would have it, a company that I booked Annabelle’s 6th birthday through got in touch with me. “Are you the owner of the Super Busy Mum blog?” I was asked – which made me chuckle. Admitting that I was indeed that blog owner and a collaboration between us blossomed.

The company I used for Annabelle’s last birthday was 1st for Fun and they were hands down, amazing. They went above and beyond and we were even surprised by having a candy floss machine delivered too {which we didn’t even know was in the package!}. Not leaving out the 30 balloons made into dogs and swords for the kids, the bouncy castle, slide and handful of DiDi cars {all for one of the best-priced bundles I have ever seen}.

So, naturally, we’d be daft to use anyone else, ever for any future birthday parties! Anyway, the reason for this collaboration was because 1st for Fun has ventured into the Teepee Sleepover tents.

Sleepover Teepees seem to be the latest fad for any kind of occasion, not just birthdays! I personally think they are a wonderful idea and they come in a range of styles, too. 1st for Fun Teepees range from LOL Surprise dolls, Fortnite & Unicorns. So there is something for younger ones, gamers and slightly older kids who love a little magic and sparkle.

We made Jacobs gaming birthday party, that little more awesome by setting up our Epson Home Projector – for optimum gaming fun! The kids were dazzled and absolutely loved it. Truth be told, the projector screen has hardly been off the wall since! Needless to say, our Home cinema projector is used more than our own TV!

Jacob’s mind blew when he saw that 1st for Fun had a Fortnite theme for their Teepee Sleepover tents. Quite frankly, I was excited for him! When you book any of the Teepee tent sleepovers through 1st for Fun you get the following:

• Teepees
• Bespoke mattresses
• Fitted cotton sheets
• Luxury cushions
• Kids Microwavable Teddies
• Eyemasks
• Nightlights
• Battery OPerated twinkle light sets
• Customisable lightbox
• Breakfast trays
• Mini glass bottles

As a bonus, each child at your party will receive a sweet cone as a gift from them – isn’t that a lovely touch!

Also, I don’t know if they supply this for all parties, but we were given a really cool version of ‘pin the tail on the donkey’. Since this was a military-themed party, we were given a camouflage party game and you had to place the tank missile on the fighter jets. Really cool and it was really enjoyed.

What I didn’t know about 1st for Fun is that is a family run business – muchos respect! And after meeting them properly when they were setting everything up, they are such a lovely bunch. They also did a sterling job of setting up everything from the beds, teepees {which are all CE certified}, string lights, tables and even wee tables with sweetie cones.

It’s easy to see that 1st for Fun have thought of everything when it comes to their sleepover teepee parties. Once everything was set up, we just needed to wait for the arrival of our sleepover guests.

Once the kids arrived and saw the party room, they were so excited and immediately dove into their chosen teepees and complimented on how comfortable they were.

As sleepovers go, they never include much sleep, do they? No matter how comfy the beds are! But the kids had an amazing time and the 1st for Fun team came the next morning to dismantle and collect the teepees.

The service we received was next to none. Yes, this was a gifted opportunity for me to review and share with you guys. So, as with all of my reviews, I aim to be completely honest. Since I started using 1st for Fun earlier this year, there really isn’t any other firm I would use for my children’s parties. So if you are in the Carrickfergus/Newtownabbey areas, definitely check them out!

The cost of the teepees are £30 each, however, I understand they are currently £25 each at the moment. This is such a great deal and you could easily have a party for 5 kids at the cost of £125 – which is pretty amazing in my book! You don’t even need to set anything up or clean anything away, as that’s all done for you.

This is something I would certainly do again for my kids. They had such a fab time {even if they didn’t sleep for more than 4hrs!}. Sleepovers should be known as ‘anti-sleepovers!’ – wouldn’t you agree?

Anyways, if you’re thinking about what to do for your child’s next birthday party – check out 1st for Fun’s sleepover teepees – you won’t be disappointed. You can check for availability here. Also, they do everything from Bouncy castles, Inflatable slides, Disco domes, Face painting, glitter tattoos and so much more!

A huge thank you to 1st for Fun for seeking me out to collaborate with them on their teepee party options. This sleepover party for Jacob I think has been his best yet, so thank you!

Disclosure: I was kindly gifted one night of the sleepover teepees in return for an honest review. All thoughts, photos and opinions are my own
