When the children finished school I never expected the summer holidays to whizz by as quickly as they have. They have gone by unbelievably fast that I’m both pleased about and a little sad, too. So as I finish getting the children prepared I forgot to get one essential back to school item. School clothing labels! I cannot tell you how many items we lost in last year’s school term, which I’m sure you can relate to. So when Label Planet got in touch offering us some of their labels to test out on my children’s school uniforms, I was happy too.
First of all, I’m just going to share that from ordering the labels to receiving them in the post, the delivery time was insane! So crazy fast and I think I received them within 36hrs of ordering them. How’s that for a super speedy delivery service! Especially here in N.I where things can usually take a day or so longer to get out to us.
The labels we’re reviewing are the Stikins name labels from Label Planet. Now, when I agreed to review these labels I did cringe a little at how many items I would have to either sew these labels onto or iron. But hold up A SECOND! With Stikins name labels there is no sewing or ironing required because they just stick right on there. A huge time saver for me as a parent, in fact, the children could even label their own clothes themselves.
These are multipurpose labels, so they’re not just for clothes. They can go on everything from shoes, lunchboxes, books, mobile phones and water bottles too.
These labels are great and in no time at all I had all of the children’s Back to school clothes and essentials all labeled and ready. I haven’t needed to wash any of their school uniforms yet to see how the labels hold up, but I’m sure I’ll mention it in a little update post on the blog after the kids first week back at school. So keep an eye out for that.
These name labels are available in a range of different amounts, including standard white labels, gold, silver and even a pack of mixed labels are available. A great and an essential piece for my kids going back to school, hopefully resulting in no more items going missing over the school term!
Disclosure: These labels were sent to us for the purpose of this review, in collaboration with Netmums. All thoughts, photos, and opinions are my own.
