A Kate & Mim-Mim Magic twirl Mim-Mim plush review

Just before I get started on this purpose of this post let me just admit that I had never heard of the hit TV series Kate and Mim-Mim and neither had my youngest daughter. The first time I was introduced to this  quirky purple bunny was at BML’16 earlier this year, in London. A plush of Mim-Mim was kindly put into our gift bags and when I got home it didn’t take long for my three-year-old to fall in love with him. In fact, her best bunny friend, River, was swiftly replaced and made a permanent ‘bed pal’ because Mim-Mim just had to go everywhere with her.

Mim-Mim was a hit and when I was offered the opportunity to review the new Magic Mim-Mim twirl plush, I knew it would blow my daughter’s mind. Not to mention the twirl plush being {easily} three times bigger than her current Mim-Mim teddy!

Once the package arrived I opened it up and left it in the front room without telling Annabelle, so she could just come across him on her own time and have the best surprise. Thankfully it worked a treat and her reaction was just what I expected and a beautiful new friendship was born.

This magic Mim-Mim twirl Plush is not only cuddly and super soft but he’s also huge and the perfect size for cuddles from to my 3yr old.

To activate the magical “Let’s twirl away to Mimaloo” song you need to hold his hands {there are little metal buttons} and the song is quite magical except for Kate squealing at the end. Which, we get it adds to the excitement of twirling etc but it just sounds scary in my opinion. We do love the phrases he says when you press his tummy and he can also be activated by tilted him too.

Mim-Mim is lots of fun to play with and I if he isn’t tucked up next to Annabelle in bed {along with her small Mim-Mim from BML ’16} then he is being tilted and twirled during playtime. It’s pretty adorable and Mim-Mim makes a super friend for my daughter. This Magic Mim-Mim twirl plush RRP for £19.99 and not suitable for children under 3yrs old.
