If there has ever been a kitchen gadget that I have been yearning for, ever since I saw it, it’s been the Ninja Foodi Dual Zone Air Fryer. It has been an absolute game changer when it comes to feeding our large family and I am absolutely obsessed with it. Sure, we are still finding our feet with it, i.e. what temperatures are best for which foods etc. But we are getting there and just having that ability to cook foods in a shorter time frame and having complete trust in the product that it will come out beautiful every time, honestly just makes me happy.
So, I thought I would share with you foods I have made, on specific settings and how they came out. Just incase you were curious like myself. As a bonus feature, you can even bake in your Ninja Dual Air Fryer! So keep reading for what I baked and the results! Because, as a keen baker myself, seeing this option made me so excited.
Ninja Foodi Dual Zone Air Fryer Review
When I heard that there was a product out there, on the market, that could cook two different foods, at two different temperatures and in two different ways!? I just could not believe it. I mean the thought alone is just amazing, right?
The particular Ninja Foodi Dual Zone Air Fryer has a maximum capacity of 7.6l, can cook two different food, in two ways and finish everything at the same time. And we all know, whether we are parents or not, when it comes to cooking a meal, timing is everything.
The Ninja Foodi Dual Zone Air Fryer is more than just an air fryer. It can cook your food in 6 different ways: Max Crisp, Air Fry, Roast, Bake, Reheat and Dehydrate.
We would normally have just our fan assisted oven when cooking meals for our family. However, it is amazing to know and see for ourselves, that the Ninja Foodi Dual Zone Air Fryer can cook 75% faster than a fan assisted oven. It can also cook from frozen and use up to 75% less fat.
Sync & Match Air Fryer options
I absolutely love the fact that when cooking a meal with this air fryer, that I am not just limited to cooking one thing. The fact that I can roast in one drawer and air fry in the other is so helpful. Then with the sync ability, you can make sure your entire meal is ready at the same time.
On the other side, if you are cooking for extra guests, perhaps one of your kids have asked for a friend to join us for dinner. Or perhaps we are having a Dungeons and Dragons gaming session and cooking up some food for the adventurers. No problem!
I can pop for example, wedges into both drawers, set one side up for air fry at 180 degrees for 20 minutes, then select match and both sides will magically match settings, press the start button and they’ll cook collectively and ding when ready together. It’s bloody beautiful!
Easy to Use Digital Control Panel
The digital panel, when we first used the air fryer was a little intimidating. But once we figured out how to use it, it was so simple to operate. In fairness, maybe I should have read the manual, but who even does that anymore!
Simple to Clean
I know what you are thinking! With everything, thus far being so simple and easy, it must be a nightmare to clean. Wrong! Because it could not be simpler. With removable non-stick trays at the base of each basket, everything is wiped, washed, cleaned and dried in moments. Hand on heart it could not be easier.
Baking in your Ninja Air Fryer
The fact that you can bake in your air fryer blows my mind! And even though I have yet to bake in my Ninja Air Fryer, I plan too and will share how I get on in another blog post and even on my Instagram stories if you wish to follow along. I think I am going to start with a simple lemon drizzle loaf cake, or perhaps some deliciously easy chocolate chip cookies would be a good start. Either way, stay tuned for those results!
