As I get older, the joy of going through my very extensive photograph collection is so nostalgic. And sitting down with my own children, flicking through memory after memory and answering the children’s questions. “Oh, Mum! Where was this?”, “Who is that?” and “No way! Is that you!”, followed by cheeky giggles. It is such a beautiful family moment to sit down, relive those memories and share them with your family. This is why I truly believe that giving the gift of photographs is such a precious gift and with Father’s Day coming up – maybe this post will give you some inspiration.

Gift Ideas for Father’s Day!
I think of all the annual occasions i.e. birthdays, Christmas etc. I think Father’s Day can be one of the most challenging to buy for. Or perhaps I am alone in thinking that and my Husband is just awkward when it comes to knowing what to buy him!
However, I do think photo gifts are perfect! From places like ASDA photo, you can create even little gifts such as keyrings, photo magnets and phone cases! Or something fun for Dad or even Grandad, you could maybe create a fun photo of Dad or Grandad and his kids/Grandkids and get it made into a jigsaw! Think of the memories of the kids/grandkids huddled around Dad/Grandad as they all try to complete the jigsaw together. That’s a moment worth capturing in itself!
My Dad is definitely a keyring and personalised calendar sort of man. He is the no-hassle sort of guy but loves the personal touch of the keyring photo he can keep on his person. And on the other side, he loves to stay organised and gets joy seeing each photo as he flips over to another month on his calendar. As for my husband, he loves the photo gift idea just as much as me. Wall Art is such a beautiful touch to have around your home. Especially where I am concerned, I am obsessed with lining the walls of my house with photographs and memories. And I love having the kids walk by them every day, smiling at those moments and it’s one of my personal highlights too. I never had a home that had family photos lining the walls, so I guess this is where my eagerness to have this in my own home comes from.
The Aluminium prints are unlike anything I have owned before. They come in a range of sizes i.e 8″ x 8″ right up to 20″ x 30″. Prices ranging from £20 to £85. They are printed using high-quality light safe inks. So if the gallery wall you hang this one gets a lot of sunlight, you can be assured that the sunlight won’t damage it. They can be created as a full photo, a bordered collage with a choice of colour or a non-bordered collage image.
It is printed on a 3mm composite aluminium panel and hanging fittings are supplied. They are stick-on hanging fixtures that can then be hung onto a nail in the wall. Or as I prefer to just buy some command hooks and adhere them to your wall that way. For example, some people rent and therefore are not allowed to put nails into their walls. Command hooks leave no trance once removed and they can be removed easily. I am obsessed with them and that’s how I hang up all of my wall art!
Gallery wall photographs galore!
I adore a gallery wall and I have a few sprinkled around our home. However, this print that I chose, of my three younger children. After they all slid down the slide into the paddling pool in a train formation, is one of my favourites. And I am so pleased that I chose this one to be an aluminium print.
The quality is really nice. The feel of the print itself is lovely and all of the colours in my photo really pop! Not to mention those happy faces! Those are the moments that I adore capturing. Not the posed moments but the pure ones. Capturing them as they laugh or being able to click at the right time they are experiencing pure joy. Those are the moments I live for and capturing those photographs makes it so much easier to choose when it comes to creating new wall art for our home.
