AD | Cute Valentine’s Day mugs with Asda Photo

Have you ever considered the option to design your own photo mug? However, first things first…I have a confession. I haven’t always been a fan of Valentine’s Day. In fact, I used to hide away from it and pretend the day never existed. However, my husband, who is the cheesiest man I know {in the nerdiest way possible – which he gets Husband points for!} has whittled me down over the years. Now, I put on my game face and enjoy the day, for him. And having him happy makes me happy, so it works. As for gifts, we never go overboard and just try to do dorky little gifts {which is our favourite kind of gift} and again, that works for us. This year, I have collaborated with the lovely team at Asda Photo to share with you their range for Valentine’s Day. In particular, their mugs.

Now, I know you might be thinking “A mug? As a Valentine’s day gift?” and I have to say, yes. For the two mugs I chose, I decided to stick with our cute/dorky with a side order of cheese tradition. It’s been our thing since we got together a decade ago, so why stop now, right? The Design your photo mug range from Asda Photo is so vast! It has got such a wide range that you can be cheesy if you wish to me, or romantic or just very traditional and sweet. There really is something for everyone and I love that about this range.

There are 13 different styles of mug to choose from, which is impressive in itself! So if you prefer a china mug, to be a little fancy, there is that option. Or perhaps you’d love to get your loved one a travel mug for their morning commute to work. Either way, the option is there including sizes from the standard 10oz mug to a 15oz mega-sized mug!

The first mug I chose, was this incredibly cute but cheesy “You Brighten up my Day” mug in a standard 11oz gloss. It is also available in 11oz Matte and a 15oz mega size. And I chose this as I know it will make my Husband smile every time he uses it. Or he might even let out a little chuckle because he knows how much it would have taken for me to be this cheesy.

The mug I chose for myself, ‘from him’ in an equally cheesy fashion is the “You mean the world to me” mug. And I chose this one because this is something he says to me, all the time. My Husband is one of the worlds good eggs. He may grind my gears on a daily basis, but he’s a very good man and this mug {as corny as it may sound} makes me smile every time I use it.

Overall quality?

The quality of the Asda Photo mugs, from my experience, is really good. They wash well, which gives it a big thumbs up from me. I have bought mugs in the past and even washing them with a light scrub brush by hand has removed the decal on them. So I’m pleased to report that these mugs wash very nicely indeed.
