AD – Creating awesome Graphics with Font Bundles

If you have followed me for a while then you will know that I am partial to creating the odd free printable or two. However, finding the right font, or even the perfect font for any of my printable’s can sometimes be quite tricky. Having the perfect font on your graphic designs, in my opinion, is vital and can make or break the whole creative project. I am going to create {and share} and few new free printable’s and I will be using a few fonts free from one of my new favourite websites, Font Bundles.

They are nothing much as this time of year is crazy busy! It’s more of a basic design to show you that creating your own printable, for whatever the occasion you need them for, isn’t difficult at all. In fact, it is much easier than you think! Lately, I have been loving the free fonts available over Font Bundles however they do have an amazing collection of premium fonts available to buy as well. A lot of the free fonts are gorgeous, and they have given me inspiration for lots of New Year printables that I plan to create, which is very exciting.

The printables that I created specifically for this post where just super simple Popcorn Bar prints. Both of them have been made available to download and use for free – your welcome! At this time of year, I know my gang, and I are having lots of movie nights in front of the fairy lights and candles and no movie night is perfect without popcorn. I can even go one better, not just popcorn but a popcorn bar! Different flavours of popcorn, a range of toppings….just delicious!

Popcorn Bar – Scoop, Sprinkle & Enjoy Printable

This printable was so easy to create. My program of choice is Canva – I have been using them for years and am also a member to access their premium elements, frames, clipart and so on. So the frame that you see on this printable is from there. Canva does have a free section to their software, so do check them out and they do have a large range of free borders to use for your printables too. I then downloaded the really lovely Happy Popcorn font from Font Bundles, added a little clipart from Canva and voila. It literally took 5 minutes to create.

From this point, you can either just print and blue tac it to the wall above your Popcorn Bar. Or, if you are a little extra like myself, laminate it or even pop it into a frame for extra effect.

Create your own Colouring in Pages

As for other creative ideas when it comes to making your own printables, literally anything is possible. Absolutely anything can be whipped up and put together if you put your mind to it and know where to get your accessories from i.e clipart, font etc.

As it is Christmas, I thought for a second printable I would use another lovely font from Font Bundles and create a really simple Christmas Colouring in Page. I used the Appealing font because it is able to be coloured in also, which is a perfect addition to this colouring in printable.

And with the New Year upon us, just think of the themed colouring-in pages and printables that you could create. There is Valentines Day, Easter, Springtime, Summer, Autumn, Halloween and more. The possibilities are quite literally, endless. That’s the exciting part about creating your own graphics!

You could even make them educational, which is my usual jam! And use hollow fonts such as ‘appealing’ to help your preschooler get to know their numbers and how numbers look like words. They can also colour them in which enhances their penmanship skills. The options truly are endless and to think you can do all of this at home if you have a laptop and a printer is pretty cool.

I was that person who hunted high and low for gorgeous fonts to create her own wedding invitations. As well as Popcorn Bar, Photobooth,  Face Painting station printables and more. I absolutely love that you can add your own creativity to the parties. Especially events that you are working so hard to put together.

And I’ll say it again, they are not difficult to do at all. I promise.

If you have any questions, please ask them below and I would be happy to help. I will try my best to help you in whatever way I can.
