3 fabulous Birthday surprise ideas!
In just a few short months, my Husband will be turning thirty. He can’t quite believe it himself {bless him} but little does he know how amazing being 30 can be. So, I would love to kick off his third decade on this planet in style – hence me trying to think of a few fun ways to celebrate his 30th birthday. I need some birthday surprise ideas!
The only thing I am sure of, at this moment in time, is that I want it to be a surprise. The main celebratory part of it anyway. I know we will go out for a nice family meal, which is a nice way to have the kids involved. Then for the evening, it will be fun and frolics with friends…or maybe something entirely different. Who knows. Oh, the decisions…
So, in the midst of the 30th birthday surprise idea turmoil, I thought I’d share my ideas with you lovely lot because I’m sure I’m not the only one in need of gift ideas. Am I right? Of course, I am.
Idea #1 // An experience day
For my Husbands stag, he was taken to Todds Leap for the weekend. Where he and his mates had a blast indulging in all kinds of fun activities.
Maybe getting a small group of us together, doing zip lines, off-road driving and maybe even some Body Zorbing. I honestly cannot think of a more fun way to celebrate a birthday!
Idea#2 // A Spa Day
My Husband loves to relax. In fact, I think if there was an Olympic sport in relaxing, he’d get first place! So perhaps taking him off to relax – just the two of us – in a lovely spa somewhere would be a nice treat. Having time away from the kids is a rarity, so I think that would be a lovely idea.
We’ve never really switched off entirely from life before – wouldn’t that be a treat! So maybe checking into an overnight spa break in Yorkshire would make turning thirty that extra be special. I can just see us both now. Full chillout mode activated beside the pool, me with a book, him snoring happily {and very loudly} next to me.
Idea#3 // Escape room & Friends
Now, I have to say. Surprising him with a night out with as many of his friends as I can gather – for fun & frolics seems like the right choice. We could all hit up an Escape room or two {they’re so much fun, have you done one yet?}.
Then grab some food and treat our birthday boy to some beers! Or, OK, ciders – he hates beer! But either way, good old-fashioned fun with friends would be had and those are sometimes the best times.
