Tesco Taste Festival at Custom House Square!

Tesco Taste Festival at Custom House Square!

Last weekend the family & I went along to the annual Tesco Taste Festival that was based in Custom House Square, Belfast. Luckily the weather was playing nice so we were able to enjoy everything going on outside, as much as inside too.

Before going to the event, I was given a Food & Drink passport from Tesco and challenged to eat our way around Northern Ireland – what a challenge, right? I was given a list of places we needed to visit and collect stamps from said vendors etc. It was a lot of fun. Inside the tent was insanely busy and even though being in a busy, packed environment like that with small children is every parent’s worst nightmare – the atmosphere was pretty epic.

Northern Ireland isn’t a big country, but we’re an amazing one. The local produce we have honestly, tastes amazing and it was a real treat being able to get a little sample of so many tasty treats Northern Ireland has to offer.

How adorable is this little drinks van!

Little hands going for the cake. Typical!

Adult treat!

These spicy meatball tasters from Primacy Farm Butchers were amazing.

I’ve never been a granola fan, but after visiting the Whites stall at the Tesco Taste Festival, I’ve been converted. They kindly gifted us three packets of delicious oats and the jumbo oats with triple chocolate? My favourite – they taste amazing! My daughter & husband love the strawberry & banana granola, too.

We had such a fun afternoon at the taste festival. We tasted so many delicious foods & drinks and our bellies were full, which made for a happy troop. We also got all of the stamps from all six counties in our food & drink passport and we had so much fun doing it. So a big thank you to Tesco for challenging us to eat our way around Northern Ireland!
