Siblings project {June 2016}

Siblings project {June 2016}

Before I get into this post can someone explain to me how it is June already? I mean, seriously! This year has gone by so insanely fast that I’m in a complete spin how we even got here and how we only have half of 2016 left!

However, being completely flabbergasted aside {that’s totally a word, right?} it is that time of the month again to share my Siblings post. This month we’ve had lots of little trips down to the local woodland where the kids love to throw rocks into the creek and I’ve tried to capture lots of little natural moments that my siblings have shared together too.

My Siblings in June

This month saw my eldest daughter go off on her P7 school residential trip and even though it was a little weird going from three kids at home to two, we managed to get through those four days before getting Lolly home. Not without a little trip to the creek and snapping up some cute shots of my two youngest children.

June also saw me do a fun Fathers day shoot with the kids. Like this one below, of all five of my babies!! My big boys not being babies anymore!

June saw us have countless pool times in the garden, endless water fights and lots of laughter {and squeals as the cold water hit their skin!}. We’ve enjoyed lots of sunshine {the weather for about 3 weeks was genuinely out of this world!} & we’ve made some epic memories together as a family.

We had a few picnics down by the creek and basically this last month {due to a recent family loss} has been all about making and capturing memories more than ever before. Leaving photos of times past for my children is so, so important to me.

June has been a bit of a reflective month.

  • Gorrrrgeous photos as usual missy! Well done for sticking to the siblings project, I’ll have to find something similar to try and follow myself. It’d be great to have all those memories to look back on.

  • Lovely photos and you seemed to have make the most of the great weather in June. We tried too but I always forget to have the camera with me and end up with phone pictures

  • Your photographs are beautiful! I love taking natural pictures of Emily, when shes not looking, they always turn out to be my favourite. I can’t believe how big Annabel is getting! I hope in the future to give Emily a sibling, its so lovely to see the bond that siblings have. x

  • What gorgeous pictures! I love taking pictures of the kids when they do not realise I’m watching. The year is absolutely flying by and Annabel is shooting up! Hope you have a good week x

  • Oh your photos are GORGEOUS Debs! All of them! I especially love the pool shot though, Annabel with that brolly makes it so perfect!! And so lovely to see your big boys too…they must be taller than you now?! haha!! I have no idea how its June…I feel like there’s been a mistake…surely its only february?! x

  • Aww, it looks like you and your babies have been having a lot of fun recently 🙂 I hardly see my eldest these days as she’s almost always out with friends, so it’s very often just me and Oscar at home. Which is fine as he’s always good when it’s just us two! LOL

    Louise x
