Reminiscing our Wedding day with Hello Canvas | Review

This September, the Husband and I will celebrate our second wedding anniversary. Two whole years of marriage. Some people say you’d get less for murder and on some days I’d be inclined to agree! But most days I could not be more thankful for this man of mine in my life. He is considerate {much more than me}, very romantic and has the patience of an actual saint. Some days, when I’m losing my mind with a whirlwind of kids either asking me for help with homework or bickering over who can sit on that seat on the sofa, he is my saviour. He can swoop in, handle the situation, clearly better than I do sometimes and the natural order of things returns. So yes; he is my rock, my best friend, my sanity replenisher and the man who in the darkest of moments never fails to make me laugh.

When Hello Canvas got in touch recently offering us a choice of their products to review, I knew exactly what I would get. Our wedding day was one of the most amazing days for us. We had so much going on that I was very thankful that I went for a 4 pm ceremony! From Annabelle starting preschool and Ellie going for her first day of High school – it was a crazy day! From almost being late. Having a buttercream disaster because I was bonkers enough to make my own wedding cake. It wasn’t as Pinterest-worthy as I’d hoped, but they never are, are they? Not to mention, my wedding dress disaster! Either way, you get the gist!

But all in all, it’s those crazy moments that make the day what it was – which was amazing. It was the most relaxed day {once the music began as I walked through the doors} to the final dance before it was time to get our little birds home to their beds. The day could not have been more perfect and that was why I chose to get a 40×50 framed print of myself, my new Husband and all five of my children together. Which in itself is one of those rare moments! Making this photo all the more special to me – my whole family captured together on a truly amazing day.

The quality of the frame was really lovely. The framed prints come in a range of different sizes, from 20x25cm, right up to 60x80cm. If you prefer a square crop, then there are sizes available for that option, too. The frames are available in a range of different colours; black, oak, oak and whitewash and white. I chose a white frame because I am all about everything being white at the moment.

It was also nice to know that the thick cardboard mount is UV-resistant, and will not discolour over time. It’s the little things like this that make a product great in my opinion. The quality of the print itself is amazing. Now the image I had printed, wasn’t the greatest quality, to begin with as our photographer wasn’t the greatest, sadly. Most of our images were blurry – which was heartbreaking. But you make something good out of something not-so-good in my world. So, knowing the image was blurry, Hello Canvas agreed to print it because they understood how much the image itself meant to me.

The photos are printed on most the advanced printing technology.  Using inks that are highly durable, UV-resistant and environmentally friendly. So it’s lovely to know that the colours on my most loved photograph ever, will never fade.

From start to finish, Hello Canvas was amazing to make my order through. It was easy to navigate through their website. The price for any future framed prints will not break the bank, this 40x50cm framed print RRP £45 – which is a bargain! The packaging when it was delivered was great, you can tell a lot of care is taking into making sure you get your product in one piece. All-in-all, they get a thumbs up for us. I loved my framed print and I think it gives our living room the final touch it needed.

Gorgeous photograph and absolutely a no brained to get nicely displayed. Love companies that frame the photos for you too, takes away some of the hassle of finding the right sizes etc.

That is lovely! I always think I should keep more physical pictures around and that is a wonderful way of displaying them.

I’ve always wanted to get a decent large print done of our own wedding photos, as yet not happened. Lovely photo to treasure, and the way it has been framed is gorgeous.
