Quick and easy Frankenstein treats | Recipe
It is Halloween in a few weeks and I don’t know about your kids, but mine are very excited. We’ve got up to a few things already on the run-up to the big night and even though I’ve left tomorrow night’s plans a little up-in-the-air {my bad!} whatever we get up to, will still be loads of fun. I hope!Β Either way, we’ll be coming home to our own little Halloween party – sparklers & all – and I rustled these spooky yet, adorably cute little Frankenstein treats that will look great on the Halloween table. In need of some simple to make party food ideas? Look no further!Β
Quick and easy Frankenstein treats recipe
I actually watched a Facebook video sharing lots of easy to make Halloween party food ideas and these cute little guys were included – as soon as I saw them I knew I had to make my own and here they are.Β
What you’ll need:
- Mini swiss rolls
- Dark green candy melts
- Candy eyes
- Candy corn
- Purple sugars strands
The only prep you need to do is to melt your candy melts in a bowl – that’s it! And everything else is super simple which is my favourite kind of treat to make. Aren’t these the cutest Halloween party food ideas!?
How to:Β
- Dip the swiss roll into the melted candy melts
- Dip your swiss roll, green chocolate headfirst into the purple sugar strands
- Stick your candy corn into the sides of his head
- Add your candy eyes
The result are these insanely cute & spooky Frankenstein Swiss roll treats! The perfect addition to any Halloween table!Β
Whatever you get up to this Halloween, have fun, make memories and most of all, be safe!

Question do you melt the chocolate on the stove or microwave snd how long do you have to let the melted chocolate sit to cool? Dont want the swiss roll to get ruined
I melt my chocolate in a bowl over the stove and I leave it for a few moments before dipping in the mini rolls. I wouldn’t worry about the mini rolls being ruined, though. They’ll be grand.
These look absolutely amazing and I don’t think I could bring myself to eat something which looks so cute x
Haha! That’s a really cool way to make such a normal treat more interesting!
