Prism Dishwasher tablet review with Sainsbury’s #AD

Over the last few days, I have been doing my usual housework – the laundry, the cooking, vacuuming {which feels like endlessly} and of course doing my dishes. I don’t know what it’s like in your house but my dishes seem to forever need washing. There is always something waiting to be washed and there is always a pile of plates needing my attention. It’s neverending! IT’s exhausting if I am completely honest with you but I guess that’s why we can praise the dishwasher!

Question – What dishwasher tablet would you normally use? Does it clean your dishes as well as you hoped? Maybe, maybe not. Well, like any product we try & test each one until we find the one right for us and the job that we need it to perfect i.e. wash our clothes or clean our dishes.  I have collaborated with Sainsbury’s to share with you a brand new dishwasher tablet – Prism.

Prism states that it can remove every stubborn stain on your dishes, without any pre-soaking. Not only that, but it declares that it works better than any other brand that is currently available. Quite the bold statement – so I was keen to put it to the test myself.

In my regular dishwasher load, I used my regular dishwasher tablet & the results were fine. The dishes looked clean but my glasses did have a few water spots on them – so sometimes I do need to put my dishwasher on for a second cycle. Which isn’t very energy efficient!

In my next dishwasher load, after I was kindly sent some Prism to try, we had all kinds of stuff in there from bolognese, curry and even an egg yolk from breakfast. I was a little unsure how effective Prism would be because it states that it can do it’s job and more without pre-soaking. And I’m a pre-soaker! So leaving that part out was a little weird but I was quite keen to get it loaded and switched on to see the results.

The results really did impress me and I have to admit, after using Prism? I could actually see a difference. I saw a better gleam on my plates and a shine to my glasses {not a water spot in sight!} & cutlery. I don’t think I have ever seen my plates shine so much.

Christmas is just around the corner and even though all I can do is dream about the copious amounts of roast potatoes, turkey and delicious desserts that are going to consumed – along with those amazing delights will come a pile of dishes that would make a marine weep. So I’m so happy to be able to use Prism from now on and not only get impressively clean dishes but saving money at the same time.

Prism dishwasher tablets per annum would cost you £51, where if I was to continue using my regular dishwasher tablet, would cost me £120 per annum – so right away there is a noticeable saving!

So not only would I be saving money, I’m having to do less work when loading my dishwasher because I no longer need to pre-soak and my dishes come out amazingly and noticeable clean!

Prism is sold exclusively at Sainsbury’s and is available in two fragrances; original and lemon and retails for £4 for a pack of 25.

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post, with Sainsbury’s and I was sent these products to test for the purpose of this review.

I really like the price point on these. We often use the other (cough) well known one and it is really expensive – particularly if you do more than one load a day like we do.

I love my dish washer but nothing ever feels squeaky clean. I’ll have to give these a go.

These sound really good! I tend to use whichever dishwasher tablet is on special offer, but I find if we ever have tomato pasta then my dishes never come out clean and I need to hand wash them after I’ve taken them out of the dishwasher. I’ll look out for prism and put them to the test too!

Having a dishwasher in the house is THE DREAM. It’s on the ‘must have’ list when we buy our flat next year, and I’ll certainly check out Prism when we do!

This is really interesting (no, really it is). I use the cheapest of the cheap dishwasher tablets and my glasses are often covered in like a white sediment. I’m sure we don’t pay much less than £4 for a box, so if these are as good as they seem it looks like I’m making a false economy with my cheapy tablets. Will pick some up next time I’m in Sainsbury’s.

I love the sound of these tablets. At the moment I buy an expensive but well known brand when it is on special offer. However, despite it being a “good” brand I often have to wash things twice! These sound far superior!

I’ve never heard of Prism but given your results and the price I’ll definitely be giving them a try, thank you.

Having a dish washer tablet that works well is so important. I’m impressed that Sainbury’s have come up with this one. Having no pre-soaking is so useful if you’re in a hurry to load up and get going. Sometimes it feels like you’re wasting time and water just by prepping everything that is going in. Looks like Prism is a very successful product.

I tend to just use the same dish washing tablets but these sound great value for money x

Ooh they look really good! We don’t use our dishwasher much but I think it’s a must over Christmas!

We don’t have Sainsbury’s here which is a shame, but when we are in London I am there a lot. With so may guests this season, this is a great offer.
