Chad Valley Guitar, Mic & Amp | Review

Chad Valley Guitar, Mic & Amp | Review

I remember back when I was wee, having a keyboard and having to write on the keys what the notes they were because I couldn’t read music sheets for the life of me {and I still can’t!}. But it helped me play songs like The Birdy Song {a true classic!}, Edelweiss & The rivers of Babylon. But beyond my keyboard playing days, I’ve never been very musical. Nor have my children – until Annabelle came along.

My fifth and final child has music running through her little four-year-old veins and I couldn’t love her more for it. She has always been a wee dancer and never misses the opportunity to groove away to a song that she loves.

As you know {or may not know!} I’m working with the lovely Chad Valley team again this Christmas as one of their Play panellists and Annabelle received a very exciting package the other week. I’ll show you everything we received over on my Instagram stories {so make sure your following} but I’m focusing on the Chad Valley Lights & Sounds Guitar, Mic & Amplifier set that she got.

This product could not be any more perfect for my little rock star. The Guitar, Mic & Amp set is aimed at children aged 3yrs & up – the height of the microphone stand is adjustable which was a big help.

Adjusting the height of it is simple – you just twist the main pole of the stand to loosen it, adjust the height & the twist the opposite way to tighten it.  For Annabelle, the mic needs to be perfectly placed to her mouth or, how on EARTH will she be able to sing! Kids are so funny!

Both the guitar & amplifier need 3xAA batteries each – so you will need 6xAA batteries in total for this product. The guitar comes with 8 musical notes {keys along the neck}, 3 rhythm sound effects, 8 demo songs & it also has a whammy bar to blend & create your own sound effects.

The amplifier has flashing lights an on and off button as well as a volume control dial. This product is already audio controlled at a safe volume for little one’s ears – so you don’t need to worry about them pumping up the volume too loud.

All in all, this is a super cute product. It retails for £19.99 and my Annabelle just loves hers. She is forever having me blast some of her favourite bands i.e. Fall out Boy & Skillet for her to jam away to and play along with. A solid gift idea for any little musician in the making!

Fancy a giveaway? I have another £75 worth of Argos gift cards to giveaway – so just fill in the widget below and good luck!

Disclosure: I was sent out this product for the purpose of this review. All thoughts, photos & opinions are entirely my own.
