Nutella Cheesecake Recipe!

When I look back at the recipes I’ve done over the last year, a few of them seem to include Nutella. It seems that I may have some sort of true love for the stuff, who knows. But when I saw the recipe for Nutella cheesecake I just had to give it a go! As when it comes to cheesecakes I’ve only ever made my mint aero cheesecake which, not to be biased or anything, it’s DELICIOUS!


250g Digestive biscuits {crushed}
75g of soft unsalted butter
1x400g jar of Nutella {at room temperature}
100g of chopped toasted hazelnuts
500g cream cheese {at room temperature}
60g of icing sugar {sifted}

Here’s the how-to!:

1. Using a processor {if you have one}, to break up your digestive biscuits, add your butter & a 15ml tablespoon of delicious Nutella. Switch on your processor and blitz your ingredients until they start to clump together. Once they do, add 3 tbsp of your hazelnuts and blitz your ingredients again until you get a damp, sandy texture.

2. Scoop your biscuit base into a 9in/23cm tin and pressed down firmly using either your hands or the back of a spoon. Place in the fridge to chill.

3. Beat together your icing sugar and cream cheese until smooth, then add the rest of the Nutella {no licking the spoon now – I know how tempting it is!!} and continue to beat until its all well combined.

4. Take your biscuit base from the fridge and smooth your cheesecake mixture over the top of it. Smoothly it out as you go.

5. Chop & toast your hazelnuts and sprinkle them on top of your Nutella cheesecake before popping it back into the fridge to set. It should take around 4hr or overnight. I went with the overnight option {just to be sure!}.

This was so easy to put together that my eldest girl and I did it in about 20mins as our dinner was cooking. It takes almost no time at all to whizz up and have in your fridge setting until its ready to be enjoyed! And enjoyed it was!

    This looks amazing- I’m going to pin it and the mint aero recipe- only thing is sometimes I prefer not to know what goes into a pudding!!

    I’m not a massive fan of Nutella……….

    Though the cheesecake looks divine!!!! And perfectly acceptable for even on the fence Nutella lovers!xx
