No Dull Days with Bassetts Multivitamins

Kids being kids, they enjoy getting out whatever the weather and my youngest daughter, loves being outdoors – she always has {especially for Pokewalks!} and I always used to joke that she would live in a tent in the garden given half the chance.

The only thing to stop her from being outdoors and having fun is when she gets sick. When Annabelle develops a cold it hits her little chest the worst. She loses her spark, she’ll live in her pyjamas and smell of snuffle babe with a hint of Calpol. It’s hard to watch.

The colder months of the year can be tough to get through, not only with the darker nights & the constant greyness to our surroundings and then the chance of getting poorly, too. This year, however, Bassetts Vitamins are helping me to help my kids fight off those illnesses.

It comes highly recommended from the Department of Health that we all take a daily supplement {especially over Autumn & Winter} containing 10 micrograms of Vitamin D which is vital to protecting our muscles & bones. Bassetts Vitamins kindly sent my children out a few boxes from their latest range, their 3-6 Multivitamins + Vitamin D & Calcium in a soft & chewy pastille to try.

They are in a tasty apricot & peach flavour – my girls love them but my son isn’t so keen – and they’re made with natural flavours & colours and have no added sugar. They are available from all of your major pharmacies & supermarkets and cost £5.50 per box which contains 30 pastilles.

To keep my kids stocked up over the colder months of the year {which works out as £16.50 per month} it’s a small price to pay when it is their health that is protected. Which also means, we can keep going outdoors and having fun as a family {and catching those Pokemon, too!}

Do you take daily vitamins?

    Peach and apricot flavour does sound delicious! I normally stay away from these kind of vitamin products, as they’re all orange flavoured and I hate orange flavoured things, but if these were made for adults I’d definitely try them hehe! x

    We love these too! My girls think they are sweets, the best they’ve ever tasted apparently, which is great for me as it means I don’t fight to get them to take them!

    I used to love the flavour of this brand when I was a child. The tricky thing was stopping at just one.

    I really liked working with Bassetts on this! It was a real eye opener to see that the Department of Health recommend everyone should consider vitamin D supplements during the colder months.
