Nerf wars with the N-Strike Elite Surgefire | Review

In this house, we love a good nerf war! We have an impressive collection as it is, but Hasbro very kindly sent out the N-Strike Elite Surgefire to play with. I was so excited {nevermind the kids!} because I am such a go-big-or-go-home kind of person and this is a BIG addition to our collection.

Nerf gun review

The Surgefire comes with one huge ammunition cylinder {which is amazing!} – it can hold 15 nerf bullets at any one time. The only other cylinder nerf gun we have is the Strongarm, so having the surgefire as well is pretty cool. It is also a pump action blaster and can launch a nerf dart up to 90 feet – which works out around 27 feet!

Which is perfect for taking aim and pulling that trigger as your trying to sneak on your little enemies – in my case – my kids! Who would be armed with fire strikes {which include laser sights – handy!} and the ever so powerful, Punisher. But none of them can match up to the surgefire’s 15 dart capacity, which really makes it stand out.

Nerf gun review

The surgefire is a great addition to our collection! It is powerful, easy to load and super fun to fire! As a military brat, it is without a doubt the pump-action that makes your spine shudder before you fire. My youngest daughter, who is only 5 can use the pump-action – just about. It’s aimed at children aged 8yrs+ but I dare anyone to tell her that she cannot wield the surgefire. I dare you.

Overall, this is a great addition to any Nerf gun fan’s collection! It is a beast of blaster and buckets of fun to use. The N-Strike Elite Surgefire is sold at all major toy retailers.
