My Favourite YouTube & Podcast Channels

My Favourite YouTube & Podcast Channels

I love Youtube. It’s such a fun channel with so much content to choose from. Kids are making millions from sharing toy reviews and other people are making a fortune from performing crazy stunts and so much more. It’s an insane world. My kids are also huge fans, which I am sure we can all relate to that one.

My youngest is obsessed with all kinds of YouTubers from FGeeTV, Collins Key, Inquisitor Master, Dan TDM & Mr Beast. To name but a few! I myself enjoy my own range of channels so I thought it would be fun to share with you some of my favourite YouTube channels to watch and podcasts that I listen to.

My favourite Youtube & podcast channels

The Try Guys

The Try Guys are one of my top 5 channels that I catch up with on a daily basis. These four guys are honestly so much fun, they’re super funny, they do the most hilarious things like make cakes & sew trousers with no instructions. They will have spicy noodle challenges and wear ladies leggings for the day. They’re a lot of fun to watch and if you have never watched The Try Guys before, go check them out.

Glam & Gore

You may not know this about me but I quite enjoy anything around SFX makeup. In turn, I also love Halloween, so the two go hand in hand! And a few years ago I found this amazing YouTuber called Mykie who was the creator of Glam & Gore.

This channel is awesome! Mykie gives you step by step tutorials to create some insane SFX masks and make up for any Halloween occasion. Or if you just want to scare someone in general. Mykie also shares some fun content about staying overnight on haunted cruise ships & jailhouse, too. If you like this sort of stuff, do pop over & check out her content. She’s super cute too – which is a bonus!

Good Mythical Morning

I have watched this channel for a good few years now. Rhett & Link are a lot of fun and do all kinds of fun content. Which includes keeping certain food and objects in bleach or coffee for a month. They will try all kinds of gross foods {so you don’t have too!} and the pair are just a lot of fun to watch. Are you a Good Mythical Morning fan?

David Dobrik

I only started watching these videos last month and I am obsessed. The antics David and his friends get up to are hilarious. A lot of swear words and sexual references in lots of cases, so not child friendly.

But I love watching them. Plus, David gifts his friend’s cars and all kinds of extravagant gifts all the time. They’re lots of fun to watch and I get so many laugh out loud moments from watching them. So yeah, David Dobrik is a definite guilty pleasure of mine.

Shane Dawson

Now, I know there has been a lot of controversy surrounding Shane lately. Which I think was blown way out of proportion and he was witch-hunted terribly. But, I am still a fan. I am hoping he does start to create content again as I really did love his videos. Everything from just catching up with his daily going’s on to him staying over in haunted places with his friends.

He is a very talented content creator and yeah, I am a Shane Dawson fan. Sure, he messed up, we all do at some point in our lives. But he apologised and still got hung out to dry for it, which is very sad. But I do hope to see him back sharing videos when he is ready.

Ryland Adams

Like Shane, I love watching his Fiancee Ryland. Ryland Adams is very creative and loves to share content around interior styling, baking and just sharing projects that he has going on. He has a very sweet family, including his sister Morgan Adams {she has her own Youtube channel} and Ryland has also just started his own podcast which I am excited to catch up with!

I do catch up with other Youtube channels, but I wouldn’t say they are my top favourites. However, the other channels that I will occasionally watch are Zoe Sugg, Alfie Deye’s, any chat show videos such as Jimmy Fallon & Jimmy Kimmel.

My favourite podcasts

I am very, very new to listening to podcasts. People I know listen to them all the time, so I thought I would get involved and see what all the fuss was about. As I am still quite new to listening to podcasts, my list is quite short.

Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum

I was made aware Inside of you with Michael Rosenbaum podcast due to a favourite show of mine {Supernatural} airing it’s 15th & final season this year. I’ve been a huge fan from the pilot episode all those years ago and when I heard that Jenson Ackles, who plays Dean Winchester in the much-loved TV show was on, I had to listen to it.

I absolutely loved it and I have a few others to catch up on because Jared Padalecki, who plays Deans Brother, Sam Winchester has also been on sharing his thoughts over the last 15yrs and how he’s feeling now the show is coming to a close. I am holding out for Misha Collins to make an appearance on the podcast, too! Fingers crossed!

You can sit with us by the Try Wives

As a fan of the Try Guys, it’s hard not to love the ladies in their lives. Becky, Ariel & Maggie are just delightful to watch and this podcast of theirs is very new and already loved by so many. They talk about everything from college days, sex and how it’s OK to talk about, crushes they had in high school – all kinds of stuff! You can even email in to give them ideas for future podcast topics.

The one thing I love about the You can sit with us podcast is that it’s all on video. It’s not just audio and I think I prefer that. I know that sort of defeats the purpose of a podcast, I guess {in a way}. But I do prefer having that visual to go with the audio, you know?

Views with David Dobrik & Jason Nash

We are all aware that I am obsessed with David Dobrik, so finding The Views podcast got me excited. It can be found on Spotify & Youtube and they are hilarious to listen to. Again, a lot of swearing and sexual references, but the topics of conversation are a lot of fun.

The Sip with Ryland Adams & Lizze Gordon

Another very new podcast that I am enjoying is called The Sip with Ryland and Lizze. Ryland has always wanted to have his own chat show, so I guess is a great first step towards having that and I am here for it. I love Ryland, he is adorable, very real and fun to listen to.

So there you go. My favourite Youtube and podcast channels to indulge in. All of the podcasts mentioned above, apart from Come Sit with us can be found on Spotify. Come Sit with Us, if you want to check it out can be found on Youtube.
