Limited edition LOL Surprise Playset | Review
I have got this far without being sucked into the LOL Surprise doll craze. But as time has gone on, my 5yr old has wanted to collect them more and more. She is a collector of everything blind bag related, and LOL surprise dolls do seem like a fun concept.
We were kindly sent out a LOL Pearl Surprise Playset to review and Annabelle was beyond excited. This limited edition fizz ball playset came in a gorgeous green/blue glitter case, which doubles up as a cute case-like handbag. Once we opened the case, Annabelle not only let out a “WOW” but I too was impressed how everything was laid out.
You had a starting point and what little pearl surprise to open first, right round to the final pearl surprise. All very cute and Annabelle really enjoyed opening up each one. The little pearls had 2 pairs of little shoes inside, 2 skirts, 2 tops and a bottle. All very cute little pieces to add to our doll that was hiding in the giant fizzer!
Both of my girls really enjoyed this part and it doesn’t half fizz up! Which was a super fun part! The only thing we found disappointing about the fizz ball was it didn’t smell nice at all. We half expected the fizz ball to smell of strawberries or cherries – or something nice! Sadly it just smelt of chemicals. But it looked pretty as it fizzled down to the lovely blue shell inside.
Inside, Annabelle found not one, but two LOL surprise dolls. One big one and then one baby. So that was a surprise! Both very cute and Annabelle didn’t waste any time putting the clothes on her new miniature friend.
Everything fits back into the shell it came in and then you have the pearl case as an extra bag – which is useful to store the rest of your LOL Surprise dolls! A very cute collectable and I understand these come in a mystery ball too, which are perfect pocket money buys! Available in all major toy retailers.

OMG this is so adorable, I have a friend’s daughter who would adore this!
oh my 7 year old is LOL obsessed and keeps asking for these dolls! She got one of the small balls for christmas and has been hooked ever since! lol
These little dolls are quite cute, I definitely would have liked them when I was younger. I have managed to avoid the whole hype as I have a boy and he doesn’t seem at all interested in them (not that I would object if he did want to collect them!)

These look like great fun – I can imagine the anticipation of waiting for the toy to appear must be fantastic!
Mine are bugging me for one of these at the moment. They look like so much fun. It must be super exciting going through all the layers.

I’ve never heard of these. I try to avoid plastic where possible, so probably wouldn’t buy these for my daughter, but I think it does look like so much fun and the 80’s child in me is attracted by the little tiny plastic shoes and accessories! Its a shame that they don’t scent the fizz with citrus or something to add to the full sensory experience. Thanks for sharing your review!
