Having a great Easter with The Works

It’s the Easter weekend and as typical Northern Irish weather would have it, the clouds aren’t looking to happy. So, the other day I was approached by the fabulous shop The Works {who we’re quite a regular visitor of already} to see if we’d like to work together on a few things over the Easter break. Obviously, with a few of my children LOVING everything arts and craft related, storybooks and even myself being a stationery nerd, of course, I said yes! So, I was given a budget and let loose around the store. You can imagine my excitement.

With my budget of £50 I was very impressed with what could be bought with that amount of money and the range in store too was also great. I managed to get something for everyone {and even a packet of sweets to share too!}.

I managed to pick up loads of Scribblicious pens, from super fine tipped, permanent and because I’m a bit of a nerd when it comes to staying organised with my blog {and family life} I picked up a packet of gloriously coloured pens.

Art therapy books have fast become a massive thing lately, so it was lovely to see an art therapy colouring book available and then I picked up a little Easter themed colouring in book for my 3yr old.

My eldest girl has craft supplies and such coming out of her ears, so I loved seeing these fun little kits for my toddler. The modelling clay kit was lots of fun, Annabelle especially loved being able to put googly eyes onto her creations. However, it was the Easter bunny kit that she could paint that won her heart!

Another thing I was pleased to see were these puzzles. My toddler is such a huge fan of jigsaws like this and even though she has quite the collection, these looked completely different to the other ones that she has. So getting her those was a must.

I needed something to store the kids ever growing collection of craft supplies, so when I saw these gorgeous set of cases, it was a no-brainer. Even more so when I saw the ‘buy one for £7 or 2 for £10’ offer! I especially love the Floral set of 3 suitcases

These have been perfect to store the kids colouring-in pens, their crafts, the ultimate glitter set that I picked up in The Works and even hair clips and bobbles!

Lastly, I couldn’t leave without picking up a few new storybooks for little Miss Belle. I have always loved the range of books available at The Works and it was nice to be able to pick up a few new books to add to Annabelles extensive book collection.

So, all of that for £50! That’s pretty amazing, right? I think so! This bundle has certainly made our Easter much more fun! From new and exciting storybooks to read at bedtime, to getting our craft on in the mornings and a little learning with jigsaws and such in the afternoon!

What have you got upto this Easter?

NG would love all of this. We did some craft over the Easter weekend with kits too and it’s the perfect antidote to sugar/chocolate comedown. Thanks for hosting 🙂 #MMWBH
