#JumpForPudsey for the Children in Need Campaign

It’s hard to believe that the children will soon be off for their Halloween half term with school. It honestly only feels as though they started their new school terms last week. However, if you’re stuck for ideas on what to do with them, how about getting involved in the #JumpForPudsey campaign with Boots UK in partnership with BBC Children in Need.

It’s pretty simple {and quite a genius little campaign, truth be told} because the Jump for Pudsey campaign aims to get the nation jumping this half term {which has been named ‘Jump Week’} while raising vital funds for an amazing charity; the goal is for the UK to jump, hop, spring, leap it’s way to 1 million jumps {turning jumps into pounds}.

All you have to do to get involved in this campaign is too quite simply, jump! As part of its mission to raise the health and happiness of the nation, Boots UK is calling on you, whatever your age or ability, to join in with ‘Jump day’ on 26th October. We’d all be doing it to help and support disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.

During the next week, Boots UK will be encouraging everyone around the nation to jump at home, at work, at the bus stop {whereever the place} and to track their jumps through it’s Jump totaliser.

Whether your toddler jumps for a few minutes, or your older kids get together with friends to jump for longer {see who can jump for the longest time!} or quite simply get yourself jumping too! Every hop, skip or jump counts! Every penny you raise {which can be five pounds, ten pounds} whatever you raise…big or small, it doesn’t matter because it all goes towards this incredible cause.

The kids and I have been doing all sorts to join in with the #JumpforPudsey campaign this week and it has been so much fun. The kids decided to do as many jump leaps off a little wall whilst doing a mid-air move or dab {it’s the new thing, apparently!} within 10 minutes. Even the toddler got involved! Check out their jumps!

You can join in too and all you need to do to get involved is to start jumping! Once you do, you can log onto Boot’s online Jump totaliser to log your jumps and donate. Boots stores around the UK are also organizing in-store events to get people jumping on Jump day 26th October. You can share your jumps on social media by using the hashtag #JumpforPudsey and you can make a donation of £3 by texting JUMP to 70313. You can also donate via here.

So, what are you waiting for? GET JUMPING! 😉
