Autumnal favourites!

As the kids to go Back to School I’m excited not only for them but for the arrival of Autumn. I adore the darker evenings, lighting candles around the house, fleece blankets, and cosy socks. Preparing pots of my Mums infamous stew or my Granny’s legendary vegetable soup. Digging out the woolly jumpers from the backs of the wardrobes and enjoying hot chocolates with the kids before bedtime. It is hands-down my favourite season of the year. 

I tend to buy the children their clothes by Season and due to them all growing like thoroughbred weeds over the Summer, I’ll need to do their Autumn wardrobe quite soon. I’ve watched the shops I favour change their clothing lines from pretty blouses to knitwear and I can’t help but get a little excited. Absolutely nothing beats coming home from a wet walk home from school {or work} and wrapping yourself in a chunky woolly cardigan or getting into some cosy pyjamas. 

As our Summer bucket list went so well I’ve decided to put together an Autumn bucket list – I’ll share that with you all once I’ve put it together. I can see lots of cosy movie nights, me in my luxury ladies pyjamas, the kids snuggled up in their onesies, candles lit and hot chocolates in hand. Not to mention the prepping for our 2nd favourite holiday of the year – Halloween!

I’ve already started buying my seasonal candles and eyeing up the 2017 Halloween range from my favourite stores. I cannot wait to get the kids dressed up to go trick or treating and to have fallen leaf wars, carve out pumpkins and jump in the biggest of puddles.
