AD | Revamping my Hallway with Desenio Wall Art

I’m not the greatest when it comes to interior design. I have admitted as much a few times before on my blog. But I do have a place in my heart for wall art. I have teamed up with the amazing team at Desenio once again and I have chosen a really fun range of Desenio wall art to share with you.

Once this collaboration took off, I knew exactly where in the house was going to be giving the ‘Desenio flare’. That place is our front downstairs hallway. An area of the house that is forever cluttered with coats & bikes and lacking in anything in fabulous. Except for my Fejka plant, which is my favourite thing in my hallway currently! And with regards to Desenio, there is just something about finding a company that has a range so vast, that you can find anything that suits who you are as a person. Something that encompasses your style and even your collective style as a family.

Giving my Hallway a makeover!

I tried to grasp who we are as a family, in images. My plan was to depict in five beautifully framed prints, our likes & loves as a family unit and I have to say, I think I smashed it. The front hallway is the first place you see when you enter our home. You can notice the bikes leaning up against one another and the coats hanging all you like. But I love catching a glimpse of the giraffe sticking out his tongue, which is the kids favourite animal. It also heightens how silly we are and can be as a family. Or the sea washing up on the beach because the beach is one of our favourite places to be. Seeing our family motto to “Be Kind” as we enter our home and walk up the stairs. More importantly a reminder to my children every time they pass it, too.

The framed print if our favourite season of the year, which is Autumn. Because it brings a marathon of Halloween movies, carving pumpkins and the all-important Halloween night. And lastly, a camera. Because that is what you will most likely see every time you look at me. Whether it’s my DSLR or my camera phone. I am forever and will forever always be capturing moments.

This Gallery wall tool feature on the Desenio website is so helpful when it comes to choosing your prints. You can choose a layout and see what prints look good together and so on. You are even given optional print choices that look good together. It really is a handy feature.

However, with regards to my choices? I did matter that they looked good side by side, obviously! I know I am not much good when it comes to anything interior design, but I know that much. And in my opinion, my choices go well together – do let me know what you think in the comments!

Hallway inspiration with Desenio

I love that I had the idea to choose prints that featured who we are as a family. Even if it’s only us who knows what they stand for. It’s such a nice personal touch to our family home. I’m quite pleased how our front downstairs hallway looks now, sure, it still has the coats and the bikes, but it has a lot of fun & flare to go with the clutter that having a family brings to a home.
