AD | Fun, Dynamic Prints Around Our Home, with Desenio
When it comes to styling our home, I am always asking my family what they think of this print or that print. If we all live here, surely everyone should like the overall vibe the home gives off, right? Now, I know some of you might be thinking “But I pay the rent!” or “I pay the mortgage”. And therefore the kids should just accept the look of the home etc. And I hear you, I can appreciate the angle you’re taking. However, that’s just not me and how we do things. I love picking out new wall art with my family because we all have pretty fun & quirky tastes, which can make our home a pretty vibrant place to hang out. And I love that! Desenio is one of our family favourites when it comes to prints & frames to choose from.
Restyling our Desenio Frames with New, Fun Prints from Desenio
With every season, I try to revamp the looks of our home with our collection of Desenio prints. I love the gallery wall I made in our living room. So changing it up every couple of months makes me very content. From fun & funky to Wintery wonderland for the Holiday Season, I love it all.
Desenio Around The Home
I am patiently waiting for Desenio to create an Autumn focused Holiday print collection. But if I am being 100% truthful? I am wishing on a black cat for a Halloween Holiday Print collection! That would truly make my Desenio love secured in stone and my print collection complete!
Instead of replacing all of our framed Desenio prints, I chose to replace a few. Just to add a little touch of change rather than the whole lot. Because let’s be honest, I have a lot of frames and when all added up? It was not cheap!
So, I decided on a small collection to swap out and change with a few new frames for good measure. Because I think little touches of ‘new’ can add a sprinkle of whatever change you needed to make you happy. Although, another collection that I love, as a busy family, is the Desenio Planner Posters Collection. Super handy, they look smart and all you need is a dry white marker and a wipe-away cloth. So good for busy households!
Delivery & Packaging Thoughts
With previous Desenio collaborations, the prints I have ordered have always arrived in pristine condition. However, on this occasion, I am not sure what happened. However, all of the prints had damaged corners. Overall, they won’t be seen when they are placed into the frames. Although, realistically they are still damaged, albeit slightly.
Overall though, the corners won’t be seen when the prints go into the frames. But as I said, I am not quite sure what happened or how that damage occurred, but it was just something very noticeable to me when I received this collaboration delivery. Normally, however, the products arrive in perfect condition.
The reason behind “a few” of my recent print choices
I love having a reason behind a lot, if not all of my choices. Even if they are put into the “impulse buy” section because I know we all have one of those! But for my wall prints, I do love to try and add a touch of who we are as a family. Whether it is things we enjoy, whether it be milkshakes, ice cream or even our favourite animals! I also love adding in typography-style prints because I think some of them can really resonate with you.
So, as a family, we love watching movies together and even though we don’t do it as much as I would like because life is busy! The love is still there to do it together and that is the reason behind the Popcorn Print. It’s cute, it’s fun and it looks good enough to eat, don’t you think?
Movie Nights & Popcorn
Along with being a popcorn-loving family, there is always one saying that I have used when describing our home. And when I tell you the feeling I felt when I came across it on the Desenio website, it was nothing short of happiness. “Grand Central Station” is a term I have used to describe our home for years. Mainly because I swear it has swinging doors, it never stops and it is rarely quiet. And as much as that drives me crazy some days, on others? I wouldn’t change it for the world.
The Gallery Wall!
I honestly love my gallery wall and the gallery wall tool on the desenio website is good fun to use. You can create so many cool and fun designs for your gallery wall feature at home. I’m also obsessed with being able to swap out the prints whenever I fancy a different look in our lounge. And it is so easy to do with Desenio! This time round, as I have mentioned earlier in this post, I have gone with a subtle chance. Nothing too intense and it always gives room for a new lease on life.
