AD | Framed Photo Prints Review with My-Picture

The older I get, the more I cherish my photographs. I take thousands every year and it is a pretty hard job trying to pick and choose which ones to hang on the walls of our home. And that’s OK. Variety is the spice of life, right? So when My-Picture.co.uk got in touch, I couldn’t say no. They are also a company I have never collaborated with before, so it’s great to see how their framed photo prints fair to others I own. First up, the customer service was amazing. We did experience a few hiccups on items being delivered but at the end of the day, it’s not the end of the world is it? Especially when there is a great customer service team on hand to put things right. Which is exactly what they did.

So amazing customer service aside, let’s talk about their framed prints. The process to order your prints is, like many other online digital stores, really easy to navigate. Which is very much appreciated. A nice, easy, smooth ordering process is something we all need, right? Sizes for the framed photo prints with My-Picture.co.uk range from 20x20cm right up to 80x60cm.
There is also a range of frames to choose as well, such as walnut, vintage silver, matt black, oak and white. My-Picture.co.uk also has an option to make your frames extra slim – which is a feature I have never seen before.

The option I chose was a simple size of 30x20cm with a white frame. The quality of the photos I chose is so crisp, vibrant with pin-sharp resolution. They come with a museum quality passe-partout, which I have never really been a huge fan of. However, it does give the framed prints that classy edge, as a finished product.
Another aspect of these framed photo prints that I really like is that they don’t come with glass in the frame, but instead uses polished acrylic glass. Which in my opinion, makes them a lot more durable. You might be thinking about how polished acrylic cleans when compared to the actual glass. In my opinion? There is no difference.

However, my only query is that with the passe-partout being included, it does make your prints much slimmer than you might expect. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing. But just something to be wary of. Perhaps choosing a larger framed print would look better with the passe-partout than the 30x20cm framed photo prints that I chose.
Overall, however, the framed photo prints are really lovely. Great quality and better still? If you are looking to buy some yourself? They don’t break the bank!

I would also like to mention, 2020 has been a year, am I right? It has been one hell of a year and we have missed our families. Every single one of us has missed people and seeing their faces this year. We won’t talk about missing out on the hugs as I am still struggling with that! Oh, being a hugger throughout this 2020 has been hard! However, my point is, gifting photos this year I don’t think has ever been more important. Anything from calendars, photo blankets, photo books and more. Each one gifted would be so incredibly cherished.

The 30 by 20 cm sounds like a good size. I usually just take pics and share online, but it would be nice to have more pics on display around my house.
