Toddler tantrums – My Sunday Photo

During the week, we decided to go out for a walk, as you do, which provided me with the perfect opportunity to snap up this weeks my Sunday photo.  The weather was being kind {meaning regardless of the grey threatening clouds, it was dry enough to exit the building!}. So, we visited a local woodland and spent a while throwing stones into the river. This is one of the children’s favourite things to do and it’s nice to watch the kids be kids, you know?

So anyway, three-year-olds being the hilarious little creatures that they are {and my one is no exception} my own little Annabelle decided that the rock she wanted to throw into the river was as big as the neighbours dog! Would she accept the fact that she could not lift it? Of course not! She kept saying “Mummy! Help!” and when I would say “no sweetie it’s too heavy!”, she’d flip out! Resulting in this photo…

Hilarious and it’s so being shown on a massive screen during her 18th birthday party celebrations!

I admire her for taking on a big challenge – a sign of great things to come if you ask me.

Aww look at her determined frustrated face. So cute!

And I am imagining how massive the splash of this rock on the water. Will not skim nice though =P

Bless her for being so determined! 3 year olds are a whole different creature aren’t they? We’re in the middle of what we call terrible two’s here, where tantrums run rampant, especially about the littlest most trivial things, so I understand your sentiment. Hope she calmed down enough to enjoy the rest of your walk! Thanks for sharing this with us and for hosting #mmwbh 🙂

What a fantastic pic! She is so adorable. I love how you plan to share this at her 18th birthday party – will it be a surprise or will you give her advance warning? I’m wondering because I’ve got a great video of our eldest son at 9 having a conniption because his little brother, 7, splashed him with water while he was climbing out of a kayak and he was already wet! I’ve told him I plan on sharing it with his one-day fiancee and kids and he keeps threatening to find it in the computer archives and delete it lest he be embarrassed for life. ‘Course, he’s only 16. I’m sure with maturity he’ll join in the fun. I hope your daughter will be more reasonable! These shots and moments are so precious!
