Make your own Oreo Witch Hats for Halloween!

When you have a ‘Super’ busy household, some days it actually feels like it never stops. Anything that is easy to put together/cook/bake gets a big thumbs up from me! So when the kids hounded me to make them an after-dinner treat I decided to put together these little darlings…Oreo Witch Hats! Super cute and seriously fun to make.
Oreo Witch Hats

Aren’t they cute!? So simple and fun to make and the kids were so chuffed with them after a day at school. In my opinion, they’re almost too cute to eat, right?
These gorgeous looking {and very tasty} Oreo Witch Hats went down a storm! It just so happens that I had picked up some Hershey’s kisses whilst out for dinner with friends a few nights before and coincidentally Hersey’s kisses were one of the things I needed, bonus! Along with the kisses, you’ll need Oreo’s {single or double stuffed – the choice is yours!} and some green & yellow food colouring and buttercream {this is easily made up with butter/margarine and icing sugar}.

These Oreo Witch Hats are so cute and simple to make that the picture says it all! It really doesn’t need explaining, however, if it does? Here’s what I did…
- Make a circle of green buttercream just wider than the base of a Hersey’s kiss on top of the oreo cookie.
- Place your Hersey’s kiss inside the buttercream circle.
- I drew a little yellow Witches hat buckle onto the front of the Oreo Witch Hat cookie.
- Lastly, I sprinkled a little purple edible food glitter as an extra touch.

These will look super cute on your Halloween party table, or tucked up in a wee box and taken to wherever the party is at! Oh, and as you can see, I added a little sprinkle of edible glitter because….well…I couldn’t help myself!!!

These are so cute. I think they’d look great plopped up on a cupcake too!
They do would! I never thought of that.
Awesome. These will get made tomorrow!
So, did you get a chance to make them? x
Errr yum! And they pass my easy test too although it would require a tiny bit of effort to get some food colouring as we don’t have any (not that I have any herseys or Oreos either!)! But in terms of putting together and eating…yes, baby, yes! Thanks for linking to #thelist xxx
These look adorable I can’t believe how easy they are too!
