Happy First Day of Blogmas!

Happy First Day of Blogmas!

Ok. Hello! Welcome to Blogmas and even though I am a ‘seasoned’ blogger {almost 9yrs!}, this is my first Blogmas content! Isn’t that crazy! And if you are new to Blogging, you might not even know what Blogmas is, but do not worry, I will explain everything. But this is pretty exciting for me because I just recently took part in my first Blogtober content creation fest and admittedly, it was difficult! So why am I getting involved with Blogmas, I hear you ask! Because clearly, I like a challenge! Or, I am a gluten for punishment. I will let you decide which one suits me right now. Either way, prepare yourself for a shed-load of festive content!

What is Blogmas?

Blogmas is known as an advent calendar for the blogging world. Every single day throughout December, you share any and all kinds of Christmas content. Whether it is recipes, Christmas craft activities, Festive days out, Christmas traditions, Free Christmas Printables and so much more. There are so many amazing blogs, all around the world that partake in Blogmas, so if you are looking for Christmas inspiration, just give them a search online!

Some bloggers will do it every single day in December i.e. all 31 days. However, I think I will just do the first 25 days of December. Which are the most exciting days because they are the official run-up to Christmas days.

Planning my Blogmas content

I will be completely transparent! I am trying to preplan my Blogmas content, but as a parent who works full time, it isn’t that easy! And to make things even more difficult for myself, I started creating content for Blogmas during the first week of November! I know, call me crazy, right? But here I am, fully dedicated and hoping that I pull it off {just like I did with Blogotober!}.

Will I be following a planned prompt? Sometimes, and the rest I will be freestyling or resharing updated old festive content. Because old content needs a little freshen up and fresh love too, don’t you think?

I will be sharing all sorts of content from recipes, free printables, new elf on the shelf ideas and printables as well as beauty, lifestyle, travel and more. And if you are joining in the choice of content is solely yours. Your blog, your rules. It’s as simple as that.

Blogmas is a huge undertaking!

Like Blogtober, Blogmas is a huge undertaking. It takes a lot of time and effort to create the content. But as someone who is very proud of her blogtober efforts, it can be well worth the hard work.

Choosing to partake in Blogmas will be a great opportunity for me to update old posts, reshare said posts, create new content and help me to get into the festive mood.

How to participate

As a reader, you can sign up for my email subscriber list and be notified when there is a new post. This is just a way for you to not miss out on any of the festive content! You can also follow me on Facebook, Twitter and/or Instagram to not miss out on any content notifications, too!

As a Blogger, you can link up with other bloggers around the world partaking in Blogmas. There will be dedicated Facebook groups to share your Blogmas content, to be supportive and remember when sharing on social media to use the #Blogmas hashtag!

It is a really nice way to read other content from Bloggers all over the globe and see what they have created for Blogmas.

So anyway whatever do this Blogmas season, whether that is share content or read our content, thank you! Your support is massively appreciated!
