Fast photo printing with Printicular

Printing off photos from a shop kiosk seems like something we did a lifetime ago. I remember it being such a novelty being able to pop into my local Boots store to use one of their photo printing kiosks to get my latest memories printed off to add to my album or photo wall.

Nowadays, and thanks to modern technology, going into your local store to print them is becoming a thing of the past and all thanks to apps like Printicular. The Printicular app is in partnership with the Timpson Group and you can pick up your photos from hundreds of Max Spielman photo shops and larger Tesco stores

This is one of the world’s fastest growing printing apps and you can now send photos you would like printed to your local retailers allowing you to pick them up that day or within the hour OR you can opt for a home delivery option.

I have been well aware of software that you can upload your photos too and have them delivered to your home, but I have never come across a photo app that allows you to send them to your local stores for you to pick up. I think that’s a very handy feature indeed.

Let’s say I needed to do a million things in one-day {which is the story of our lives, right?} while I was out & about and getting photos printed off was one of them. As I do other things, I could multitask for five minutes, send the photos I need across to my local store and pick up when I was finished. It’s actually quite perfect!

The print sizes available are from the standard 6×4 up to 12×8 and are ready within 1-hour in most locations, so please do check with your chosen pick-up point.

Printicular is aiming to encourage the younger folk to download their app and try out their new service over the festive period! Let’s hang photos in our bedrooms and on our fridge doors like it’s 1985!

The Printicular app is free to download on your Android – Printicular Photo Print & iOS devices – Printicular Photo Print

I love the idea of fast photos. I had to go into a photo printing shop a few weeks ago and it was so odd as its something we don’t do anymore but I really miss seeing pictures like we used to so this is such a fab idea. Love it x

Ohhh now I might have to check this out, I don’t get things printed off 1/2 as much as I should and having an app to do it from sounds like it should make it easier.

What an ingenious idea! Cuts out all the standing around in shops choosing each one to print off. I love the total convenience of it

That’s a brilliant idea. I still like to flick through an album of printed photos rather than look at them online.

Ah if only I had read this post earlier! I was frantically rushing around this week trying to find somewhere to print photos to go in Christmas cards! I’ll remember this next time!

This sounds fab! Great timing too as Christmas is a time where people like to share photos and give albums etc!

I used to remember taking a camera roll to Boots to develop photos, that was so many years ago.I have not printed any photos for along time but this app sounds like a wonderful idea.

Ooh, this is such a great idea! I remember as a teenager I would come back from holiday, then head straight into town to drop off my rolls of film. Now I rarely print any pics off 🙁

One thing I want to do is print more pictures – it is so much nicer having physical photos rather than just looking at them on Facebook/your computer. x
