Fairground Candy Grabber Review {From PrezzyBox}

When I was planning my daughter’s 12th birthday party I had all kinds of cool ideas to make it fun for Ellie & her friends. I think I did a pretty good job, but me being me, I do love to go a bit overboard. I swear it’s my signature touch to any party I have ever put together for my kids. For example, sitting up until all hours finishing this Finding Dory cake for my youngest’s 4th birthday back in January.

For my daughter’s birthday, her Dad & I booked a Hummer Party Bus {from Keith’s Limos in Belfast} then they would come home to a movie themed party. Which involved all the camera, lights & action, a chocolate fondue with all the mini treats you could imagine and a Fairground Candy Grabber from the online store, Prezzybox.

Who doesn’t love a grabber machine!?

I know when I was little I was drawn to these machines with a weird and unexplainable gravitational pull, and this mini version was no different. As soon as the girls came back from their disco-fueled party bus experience, this was the first thing they saw. And in no time at all, they were giggling and screeching as they tried to win themselves some sweets & treats. Not that they needed anymore!

The candy grabber is super easy to set up. It requires 3 D-sized batteries, which if I’m honest I just picked up a few packets from a local Pound Store. Much cheaper and they’ve not needed to be changed yet. To get candy into the machine you need to screw the lid off, which requires a small star headed screwdriver.

There is a little removable slot on the top of the candy grabber machine however when I first opened it {with no batteries} the grabber’s arm was in the way of me adding anything to the machine. However, after batteries were put in and the arm could be moved, it meant I could refill the machine more easily.

To activate the Fairground Candy Grabber you insert one of the plastic coins into the coin slot and the funky fairground style music will begin. The aim of this game is to grab yourself some candy before the music runs out. The music speed increases the closer you get to the end of the time given – it really gets your blood rushing as you race against the machine to win some candy. I love hearing the kids screech as they cheer each other on to win.

This made such a great feature for my daughter’s twelfth birthday party, the girls won loads of candy! The Fairground Candy Grabber RRP for £27.99.

      That’s so cool. Yes, this has been the same. It’s been a few weeks since the party and they are still playing with it now & again. It’s great when they love something and it actually gets used over & over. I can see this being at every party I throw for them now, lol.
