‘Draw my pet’ campaign with Petplan UK

Petplan put together an exciting campaign and got in touch with us asking us if we’d like to get involved by putting our drawing skills to the test to draw our dream pet. There would be no right or wrong way to go about it because the only limit for this Draw my pet campaign was our imagination. The dream pet we create would then be transformed into an amazing soft toy for my daughter {she’s loves to doodle!} to keep & treasure.

As soon as I let her know what was expected of her, off she went with her paper, pencil and colouring in implements and she got lost in her own little creation bubble. It didn’t take her long to put together her dream pet; this is Calco, the cyborg kitty. Because, every 11yr old dreams of having their very own Cyborg feline, right?

From the moment I sent off the scan of my daughter’s dream pet drawing, it was a few short weeks before her Cyborg kitty was delivered.

Ellie was thrilled and we were both pretty impressed at not only how well her dream pet was made but how it looked exactly like her drawing!

My daughter and I really enjoyed getting involved with this pretty unique campaign with Petplan UK and her cyborg kitty, Calco, will always hold a special place in her heart because she designed and created him herself.
