Checking out the Spring & Summer collection with Skechers

Last weekend, I was very kindly invited along to the Skechers Ireland event at their store in Belfast. It was organised alongside the lovely Cathy Martin & the NI Blogger brunch, to see the Skechers Spring & Summer collection. Some I follow on Instagram, others I knew of and so many more.

It’s an exciting experience to have so many passion-fueled bloggers and influencers under one roof. Everywhere you looked people were chatting, catching up and taking photos to share on social media.

Food was kindly supplied at the event by Slims Healthy Kitchen. Which was very kind. Nothing like a fruit platter and granola pots to kick start your Sunday!

The Spring and summer collection from Skechers is on point. Lots of gorgeous pastel colours, so many different styles of shoes, from sport, casual, sandals, boots, workwear and so much more. I personally had no idea that Skechers supplied workwear shoes – so that impressed me.

In typical me fashion, I gravitated towards the kid’s section because let’s be honest, the kid’s shoes are adorable, right? They had shoes that looked like disco balls, ones that sparkled, others that lit up – every child’s dream shoe for sure.

After prying myself away from the kids light-up shoes, the Skechers Street style shoes caught my eye. In particular the Women’s Zinger 2.0 – I instantly fell in love. So I bought them! Why not, right?

As someone who is on the verge of 40 and desperately trying to get into the habit of daily exercise. Having good, comfortable workout shoes is important. So, if like me, you’re looking to get more active, then I highly recommend checking out their collection.

Overall, it was a fun event. It’s so nice to see so many different shoe styles available for everyday use. Whether it’s casual outings, fitness, work or just walking. There’s something for everything and I’d like to thank Skechers Ireland for personally inviting me along. Another thank you for the very kind goodie bag.
